Paulo Thiago kills Swick in RD2.
Drops him with a left hook then puts on a D'arce choke and just chokes swick out cold.

Yeah, good wrestling from sonnen, but I don't think he poses a title threat

actually, I think oleman looked way worse than against Shogun.
Typical from Tito wanting to call out the loser...someone he might actually be able to beat. |

Thought this was one of the weaker UFCs in recent memory.
Thiago and Serra's finishes were cool and Thiago is a bonafide badass. Sonnen-Marquardt was a lot of fun but Maia-Miller was atrocious and so was Gracie-Beltran. Davis was impressive but they really need to treat him with kid gloves as he's a blue-chip prospect, but nowhere near as polished as similar guys they've had come in in recent years (Jones, Bader, Velasquez, Hendricks). I wouldn't mind seeing him fight five-six low-level opponents before anything major. And I know it's good for business but the pure sports fan in me is shuddering that Couture gets ANOTHER title shot based on the BS decision over Vera and then this win over Coleman who looked like a heavy bag out there. I'm with ( o ) Y ( o ) - he looked worse here than he did against Shogun. He should've come out with the Sonnen gameplan and instead came in with well, who knows. Worst UFC main since Leites-Silva last April.

Pretty forgetable event. The only thing of note was the Davis debut and the Thiago sub. I have forgotten the rest of the event already. I swear Thiago displayed some of the worst striking I have seen in years. KD aside he looked like he was slap boxing. Good MMA though when he dropped Swick and transitioned to the Darce in 2 seconds. If Silva fights Sonnen he will sub him
