If the talks of a third bout between Tyson and Holyfield becomes a reality would you watch it?

Do I think it would be a good fight? No. Do I think the fight would be good for the sport of boxing? No. Will those two reasons by overridden by my intense curiosity to see two of my favorite boxers from the late 80s and early 90s fight once more? Yes.

Even though the bout has zero significance in the heavyweight division and really comes down to a sideshow to suck in nostalgic fans I have to admit that I'd watch the fight. Most likely either at a sports bar with a low cover fee or with a bunch of friends at somebody's house where the split on the ppv would only come out to something like $5 each.

Is this based on rumours of it actually possibly happening or just you?

This is based on rumors. There's been talk for the past 6 months of this happening and Holyfield recently had an interview with a newspaper saying he'd do it if "the price was right."

Evander Holyfield claims he could meet old foe Mike Tyson for a third time despite both former undisputed world heavyweight champions being in their 40s.

Holyfield beat Tyson in 1996 and 1997 - the second courtesy of Tyson’s infamous disqualification for biting a chunk out of his opponent’s ear - and both men have made several questionable comebacks in recent years.

However Holyfield, 45, has revealed he is considering an offer from 41-year-old Tyson’s camp to meet in the ring for a third time.

“There has been some talk between us,” Holyfield told The Guardian. “Mike had Jeff Fenech, who’s been training him, call me a few months ago. Jeff says Mike wants to fight me again - but he needs to know if I would agree to it.”

Holyfield told Fenech that his opponent would have to be serious about the fight due to the perceived “flak” the aging superstar will receive after vowing to never face Tyson again.

“Jeff says, ‘What if Mike gets in proper shape,’” Holyfield said. “I told him that’s OK but I can’t be part of it if Mike’s going to pull out. Jeff said, ‘The main thing Mike wants to know is if you would be willing to fight him again?’ I said, ‘Yeah, if the price is right, I probably would.’”

I'd watch it, although I wouldn't expect much.

I was just about to post that I would only watch it if it had a great undercard, but that is a lie. I would watch it regardless.

Yes ... it was painful to watch Holyfield against, was it Ibragimov, because Holyfield was giving "age handicap odds" for a lesser, but younger man, who fought without spark or spirit ...

but these two veteran legends would be having about the same "handicap" so it would be about even and fair.

Holyfield just can't stop fighting and MIke needs money, so why not, once again, for the old times sake?

Is holyfield even allowed to box? I thought he had some problems that restricted him from boxing ever again.

Well, I guess I would watch it.
