What`s your favorite game and why? I don`t have to think long before I answer Civilization 2. That`s probably the most addictive(?) game I`ve played, and you can learn so much history from it by reading the encyclopedia. And the wonder movies were beautiful, why on earth did they not include them in civ3??

I`ve never played any of the Final Fantasy games, they seem good. Is it strategy? Oh and another favorite for PC is Command and Conquer.

Tekken and Virtua Fighter 2.
Ironically, I played both of them in the arcade during their heyday.

Used to love Sim City.
How about a series of games? The John Madden series is awesome and I've played almost every one since the first on the Megadrive. Currently have 2005 on the Xbox and its great.
Used to love Speedball 2 on the Atari ST as well.

Yeah Tekken is great, dont`t like Virtua though. Mortal Combat on an arcade machine was great, too. Street Fighter3 and Double Dragon3 is great for nintendo.

The only one I every played was HalfLife.
I found Halflife to be kinda boring. Best shoot em ups for me is maybe Quake and Quake2, and Sin. The Unreal Tournament series is also great. Those were the days, playing Quake2 over a 33k modem and (my dad) getting sky-high phonebills lol.

Me too. I was bored one day and downloaded the demo....it rocked so I bought the game and played it twice....it sucked. The demo was and is cool though! lol

The reason I like Virtua Fighter and Tekken consists out of two different reasons. Virtua Fighter is deep and yes it can scare a lot of newcomers away, but starting with VF4 it has become user friendly and I can get into it easier than with Tekken 5 for example, because the combos and such are listed in such ridiculous fashion. A bunch of numbers just don't add up to me.
I love the Mishima family soap opera and Kazuya remains the baddest fighting game personality of all time. It's easier to get a friend to play Tekken than it's with Virtua Fighter!
Half-Life 2 is the best shooter by miles, in my opinion. Unfortunately, shooters tend to give me nasty headaches. Shoot 'Em up... Shooter, whatever.
Had a long lay off gaming wise and haven't played anything seriously in ages.

Boulder Dash, and I liked Bubble Bobble! HL2 and FarCry are two good games, but you kinda come to an end with both of them.

Fight Night is good, I don`t know how many hours I played it last summer. But I got somewhat tired of it, it gets too easy and I had no one to play against.

Tekken 4 and 5. I pick the MMA fighter Marduk, or the MT guy Bruce. Kinda pissed that they weakened out Marduk really bad. Everyone can sprawl in Tekken 5 T_T (yeah right...).

Is that the sequel to Age of Empires? I used to play that alot, I liked it. But your workers were just so stupid it annoyed the hell out of me, like them getting stuck between houses and such.

1- RPG - Fallout2 !!
I spent years on this game : )
The graphics are quite old now, but it's a great experience. You're free to do a lot of things, even immoral things wich made the game 16+ rated (like become a pornstar, or a drug addict, prostitute your wife...)
A lot of dark humour in it. This game is terrible.
2- Arcade - Puzzle Bubble
3- 3D First Person - Thief 1 & 2
I'm learning short bow because of this game.
4- Fighting - Samurai Shodown
El Presidente

That used to piss me off too. Fucking moron computer men. And the way they used go on long circuitous routes rather than just heading straight for something when you had loads of action going on and stuff on your map was a real pain too.

there is alot of game I've liked trough the years.. Anarchy Online (a MMORPG game) was probably the game I spent most time with. The last game I've played for more then 2 hours was Starwars - Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords (yes, a long title :P )

Yeah but its pretty cool how they have a better sprawl animation for the characters that have grappling backgrounds.
