This has been coming for awhile but now it's official. Oscar and Floyd Sr. are back together:

While I shudder at the thought of how the Floyd Sr. vs Floyd Jr. angle will be hyped up to no end I do think that in the end Floyd Sr. is the right trainer for Oscar. They have history and Floyd Sr. will probably be more effective in advising Oscar in between rounds than Freddie Roach was. I thought Roach put together a good game plan for Oscar but it didn't seem like he was able to get the most out of him down the stretch.

Roger v Floyd Sr is what should be hyped.
What if Freddie switches to PBF's camp? That would be killa!

LOL. I can't even imagine Freddie together with Floyd. Wow. My head exploded just trying to imagine those two working out together.

I was just kidding about the damnit. I actually think that this is a good fit and Oscar's best chance. He has to stay with the jab for 12 rounds. He can't pull that "It wasn't the night of the jab" BS that he did last time.
I don't think that he will win either way, but I do think that the scores will be more justified for being close. I don't see how that judge could have saw Oscar as the winner last time.

Floyd Sr. says that this will be the end of his son's undefeated status. With Jr. off doing wrestling (I think he's set to face Big Show at the next WWE PPV special) and celebrity dancing stints, one has to wonder if this could be the coming of the doomsday.

I don't think WWE will be any more of a distraction to Floyd than "Dancing With The Stars" was before his fight with Hatton. If anything this will probably be less of a distraction since the fight with Oscar won't be until September. Wrestlemania will be done soon enough and Floyd will have plenty of time to rest and then have a full training camp.

We should all hold our breath for Oscar who faces Contender's Steve Forbes (also trained by Roger Mayweather) on May 3rd as a warm up fight.
