No gifs in signatures?

In the future would the mods consider allowing gifs/pics in sigs?

I think it's a good thing that there are no pics allowed in sigs. Why's that? Let's see;

Pro's:
- Have a cool picture/animated gif in your sig.

Cons:
- Slower navigation due to heavier traffic.
- Less posts fit on a page.
- Chaotic overall view when people use pics in their sigs.

Oh god please don't allow gifs (or any other kind of pictures for that matter) in signatures. Kakutougi is one of the cleaner forums that I visit, don't let big pictures and kilobytes of gifs ruin that...

Most forums have an option that allow you to turn gifs/images in signatures on or off. For those who don't want gifs or pics it'd be as easy as going to your control panel and disabling them. If the mods decide to allow this they can also set a size limit on (either by dimensions or total file size) to insure that huge ugly sigs don't start cropping up everywhere.

Not really, because gifs kill my work computer and cause major trouble with just logging on from work......yet I would have to keep them turned on just to make sure no one was putting up spoilers/gore etc....

Well, pretty much the only reason why I don't like to visit bloodyknux.com is the ugly/chaotic view. To graphically intensive.

For the record I officially withdraw my suggestion. I was browsing another forum and the signatures were ridiculously big with slow loading images. Ugh.
