Boxing’s two best middleweights -- undefeated world champion KELLY “THE GHOST” PAVLIK and once-defeated former world champion JERMAIN “BAD INTENTIONS” TAYLOR -- will resume their ring-war hostilities, this time at 166 pounds, when they face-off in a battle of epic proportions. Boasting a combined record of 59-1-1 (46 KOs) -- a sterling winning percentage approaching 97% and victory by knockout ratio of 78% -- the Pavlik vs. Taylor collision explodes Saturday, February 16, at MGM Grand. Promoted by Top Rank and DiBella Entertainment, the 12-round Pavlik vs.Taylor rumble will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. PST.

Kelly's been medically cleared following a window accident and some stitches to spar and train 100%

This second outting promises some hefty power works to match the first one. How do you all call it?

I think that just like the first fight it comes down to Taylor's focus and discipline. He had the fight won in the 2nd round but he got overly excited and Pavlik was able to escape the round. If Jermain would've calmed down he could've picked Kelly apart and put him away for good. I have always believed that Jermain has superior speed and technical ability compared to Kelly. It's just a matter of if he uses it.

With all that being said I'm not too optimistic for Jermain's chances given the current turmoil regarding his training situation. I don't think Ozell has what it takes to get Jermain ready so I'm picking Pavlik.

Tough call that, Taylor was close but seemed unable to really dig. I think Pavlik has it in a close decision, no significant knockdowns from either fighter this time though.
