Johnny Tapia. Because leaving it alone apparently is not an option.

At the Marquez Vs. Juarez weigh in Tucson Tapia was on hand and verbally confirmed he was back to fight and was at a relatively trim and fit 140lbs. Expected date of return: tentatively some time December.

I loved Tapia in the days of way back. And I'm always going to be biased fan via living in New Mexico for so long. But geez he needs to stop.

Did anyone ever read his autobiography? I always meant to pick it up but never got around to it...

I used to love watching him fight. He gave us some great fights to remember. I agreed with his choice to hang it up. I felt it was the right time, maybe 1 fight too long actually.

I know he must really need the money. But I wish he would stay retired.

I don't think this is a good thing at all. It is only good in a since that it keeps him out of trouble.

Well it keeps the bills paid for sure. Out of trouble though? I sincerely doubt. Tapia is born in trouble , lives in trouble and won't consciously separate himself from trouble. So long as he does that he's got a lot more trouble heading his way.

BTW anyone ever notice the older he gets the more he resembles Joe Pesci?
