Fightsport United visit the whole DOM Team in Japan right after the Team League event where DOM was succesfull against Ilkma's Team Hurricane with a 2-0 victory. The interview was held in the Daisuke Hotel, enjoy!
At first we talked to the man who celebrate a great comeback in the KPFL team League after months without fighting . The Motion Doctor Mark Hunt!

Hunt came in the ring very self-confident.
FU: At first, how it feels to be back in the fightgame?
MH: Great man, the Team League was a great oppurtunity for an comeback and im very happy with my fight yesterday.
FU: What you think about the performance of your oppenent Dan Bobish and also of your own?
MH: I was suprised he don't try more often to bring the fight to the ground. But i also was suprised about his stand up skills. To be honest i wasn't knowing much about Bobish so maybe it's no wonder he suprised me? *laughs* No seriously, he is a good fighter, he caught me a few times with his punches and they were not bad, very powerful but we all know what kind of ironhead i have. *laughs* About my own performance? Hmm, like i already said im very happy with them. My defense was good, most of the time we were clinching i could avoid that he takes an advantage out of that. I needed some time because maybe i was a bit rusty after such a long time without any real fight but after i was warm everything goes fine and this KO was really, really hard, almost brutal. *smiles*
FU: What can we expect from you in the future:
MH: Well, much i guess *laughs* I hope we see more S-1 Tournaments in the future because you know... they were already two UCFC events and the Team League also was under MMA rules. I really like MMA but i have plans to make an comeback in pure stand up fighting, so i just hope S-1 becomes the same significance like the UCFC already have.
FU: Thanks Mark for the short but nice interview.
MH: Oh, no problem. Thank you too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Royce Gracie had an hard fightsport week behind him but he was still ready to made a short interview with Fightsport United.

Royce Gracie was preparing most of the time in Brasil for his two fights.
FU: Royce, how you feel about your comeback this week?
RG: Slotted, i have no excuses for my bad fight against Karelin, i just did not find a way into the fight. Karelin overweighted me about 40kg, i think this was a keyfactor. Close after this, just 1 week later i was fighting Yoshida, i was a bit nervous before the fight because i was knowing if i lose this would be a huge dissapointment for me.
FU: What you think about the fight against Yoshida and about Yoshida himself?
RG: It was a great fight, especially for grapplingfans it was really a battle. So many good submissionattempts, it was great. Yoshida was a great oppenent and i just can thank him that he made such a great fight. Because after the dissapointing fight against Karelin i thought i have to show my fans a great fight now, a great performane and i hope i accomplish theyr expectations.
FU: You defintaly did Royce. Ok last question, i heard some rumours that Chuck Liddel, former UFC light heavyweight champion is still a bit angry about his lose against Schilt and especially after Kenshin's comment "Schilt is just above Liddel at the moment, we dont want a rematch right now". So he probably is aiming for you right now to take revenge on DOM?
RG: Really? I heard nothing like that until now but i could imagine he's aiming to fight me right now, yes.
FU: Many thanks, nice interview.
RG: No problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Semmy Schilt is after his dominating victory over Chuck Liddel one of the high rankest fighter at the UCFC right now.

Semmy Schilt is two times K-1 WGP Champion and now aiming to become also a force in the KPFL.
FU: You wasn't fighting in the Team League yesterday. How comes?
SS: Yes, funny thing. Kenshin made an error calling me the "Ace" but he wasn't knowing that im not fighting until the first both duels ending with a draw *laugs* But those things happen and we won 2-0 anyway.
FU: With 100Points you are very high ranked in the UCFC League right now but you also will fight a very dangerous fighter, Hong Man Choi in a couple of weeks at S-1. Do you aim to become a force in both organisations?
SS: A force? I want to become a champion in both organisations *laughs*. I will show everyone that nothing is impossible, even such a hard challenge like this.
FU: What do you think about Hong Man? Any special tactic for him?
SS: I fought him before in Korea, in 2006. I clearly won the fight but the judges dont care and give the fight to Choi. This time, i dont will fight against him in Korea and i will win this fight 100%. Any special tactics? No, i will outscore him or maybe even KO him.
FU: What you think, which fighter will be you hardest challenge in the KPFL?
SS: Well, every fight is a challenge but if i must answer this question and i guess i must... Peter Aerts and Fedor. *smiles*
FU: Thank you for the interview.
SS: Thanks too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last but not least i also had a quick talk to the man behind the action, the manager of DOM, Kenshin.
FU: You really seem to be a motivated and arranged manager since you start with DOM. What are you aiming for right now?
K: I definatly aim now for the first S-1 Event. This is the event i was waiting for so long. When i created this team i was looking to have an balanced team who could compete in both, MMA and stand up and i really think i did not do bad. Schilt and Hunt are excellent stand up fighters but also very experienced in MMA. Both are PRIDE veterans and they fought against the best, Schilt also was a PANCRASE champion some years ago. But i still think theyr supreme disciplines are in the stand up. I really looking forward to the first S-1 event and i just hope i can manage fights for both, for Schilt and Hunt. Schilt is a must, no doubt but also Hunt is willing to bring it all into the S-1 ring. I also think Hunt is definatly one of the most entertaining fighter to watch in the KPFL, especially in the stand up. His heavy punches can KO everyone and it's everytime a joy to watch how much Hunt can take, nobody ever KO him with a attack to the head and i definatly think this won't change in the KPFL. *smiles*
FU: Takahashi isn't here, do you maybe can enlighten us what is the current situation about him? Do you already come to an agreement with on of the other KPFL managers?
K: Well, i cannot say too much at the moment, seriously. I can tell you that the proceedings at the moment seems to be freezed, what is funny because my negotiant is called Freezing Moon *laughs* I dont know, we already shaked hands but maybe he is just too busy at the moment. It would be a huge deal, nearly an revolution of KPFL but well, lets wait and see. *smile* But ok, i can tell you about the proceedings i had before Freezing Moon because theyr was some speculations about it between the KPFL-Managers since i announce it where a heavy US-American fighter and you know what the funny thing is? It was Dan Bobish! *laughs*
FU: Dan Bobish? *laughs*
K: Yea man *still laughs* but i can tell you that after Hunt sends him brutally into the land of dreams, im totally disinterested in that deal. *smiles* So, for every KPFL-Manager who read that and is interested in become a MMA-Veteran with over 50 MMA fights, feel free to contact me.
FU: Alright, thanks to you for the interview and of course to the whole DOM team. Good luck in the futute.
K: Thanks, see ya!
Addition: Shortly after we made the interview, the fight Mark Hunt vs. Alexey Ignashov was confirmed to be held at the first S-1 Event.
