Nonthanan from the Por Paramuk gym steps into the mix against kickboxing's favorite muslim Farrid Villalume.
No doubt Buakaw has pulled some leverage to get him in the mix, but he can scrap and this will be an interesting bout.
I'm still picking Farrid as no one as of late can answer questions on how to stop him.
What's your pick?

Kinami dropped him in the first round of Farrids last fight right?

Kinami looked like minced beef at the end of the fight ;-)

My fault OYO I thought they fought again. I remember this one. Farrid has been beating people up. Even my favorite Danny Bille wouldn't make weight to fight him.

Yeah that was a good down, but he slaughtered Kinami after that. Farid is my pick because he is my guy, but I am not sure who I would pick if he fought the top three in Max.

Farid just KO'ed a thai a week ago....

The thai was the famous thai champ Samkor, it looks like Samkor isnt anymore in his best shape. Farid KO him in the 4. It was June 16...so Max being the 28: thats only 12 days and a travel to JPN betwen 2 fights, that crazy!
Farid did win a lots of fight recently and the A1 big tournament.

I'd say that Samkor, though not in his prime, is a little one dimensional at this point to. He relies on the left round house way to much. Amara Shinobu beat him due to the lack of dynamics in his fight game. Farrid and Parr back in the mix is way exciting.

Damn he must be real confident to have fought Samkor a week and a half before his fight in MAX.

True, the danger of forearm or ribs damage alone would make most dudes decline the honour. But KOing him is impressive, even if Samkor isn't in his best anymore... Farid is awesome and his style fits so well in Max, why the hell they dropped him after the Kinami destruction was always a total mistery to me (fear of great "foreign" contenders who could embarass the then undisputed max stars (Kraus, Masato, Kohi) like Buakaw was doing, which many said at the time, comes to mind though). I'm very happy he's back at last, would be great to see him in the mix, this guy is just fantastic.

No, I think he's glad he's back in MAX!
I mean, he is a top thaiboxer but in MAX he's still a noob, now its up to him to KO a few guys and finally get the spotlights!!!!

Yeah that is what I was thinking. If he is in the league with the top fighters in the world then he is in the right place. I would love for this to get him a replacment bout. First thing first, he has to win.
