Nathan Corbett. vs Kaoklai Kaennorsing

Kaoklai comes out to a few boos from one section of the crowd but most of the crowd giving him a friendly welcome into Carnage's hometown. Its pretty obvious who everone here is going for though. Corbettt comes out to a standing ovation from the crowd. His entrance is 'Let the bodies hit the floor'. Another massive reception from Corbett as he is being introduced in the ring.

Round 1:
Carnage moving forward. Kaoklai attempts a high kick and slips over. Low kick by Carnage and Kaoklai returns the favour. The crowd yelling Corbett, Corbett.... An exchange of knees in the clinch. Nice one two by Carnage. A one two by Kaoklai. Carnage misses with a left hook. A very feeling out round. Carnage connects with a left hook as Kaoklai attempted a kick. End of round.

Round 2:
Fighters touch gloves and the round begins. Nice combination of punches by Carnage which forces Kaoklai to clinch. Carnage lands a couple of elbows after hitting Kaoklai with a body punch. A massive right snaps Kaoklai's head back. Carnage with an overhand elbow. Both fighters throwin big elbows now. Nice uppercut left and a right that puts Kaoklai down for the count. Fight is over. Big knockout combination by Carnage. Takes a couple of minutes for Kaoklai to finally get back to his feet and he is wobbly as he returns to his stool.

Winner by KO, 2:58 into the second round.

Damn, tough fight for Kaoklai.

Seems Carnage didnt have trouble closing the distance to work the punches.

Dunno, but he has said he wont fight above 91kg, and has no interest in challenging Hari for the -100kg K-1 title.

Pretty much seals the deal for Kaoklai and the truth. Overhyped.. just can't hang with people his size.

Damn my write-up isn't even necessary. Carnage did look to be a little unfocused or having trouble with range in the first round but as said above, really took over in the 2nd and Kaoklai never really offered anything.

Preacher vs Dawson
Dawson by TKO in the 3rd. Preacher felt Dawson's power in the first round and after became cautious, never really throwing anything to trouble Dawson. In the second Dawson threw some great body combinations which paid off in the 3rd when Dawson proceeded to knock Preacher down 3 times with body shots, the referee stopping the fight just as the bell rang. I think we have seen the best of Preacher unfortunately.

If anyone would like a rundown of the undercard I'd be happy to help.

Well this just made my night. Let there be no arguement that Carnage and Spong need to fight. KK is a man without a weight class. He stands no chance against elite fighters his size.

Carnage is the number 3 pound for pound fighter in the world. I really hope he reconsiders fighting Hari.

Also I love Dawson, but he should be fighting next week instead of fighting Preacher. Nothing against Preacher, but Dawson deserves to be in the Elimination.

Any in particular?

Oh Mark Hunt, JWP and Schaffa gave small interviews. JWP said he'd be fighting in K1 Max in Korea soon, Schaffa hopes to come back for Dynamite and Hunt said something along the lines of, 'I haven't fought in a long time, I don't know when I'll be fighting next, so yeah.' lol

You might want to know about 'Tamachan'? Trained by Yegumi Yabushita or something like that. She fought a local MT girl under X rules, 1st round kickboxing, 2nd round MT and 3rd round MMA with a silly 30second limit rule.

Tamachan looked crazy and Tenille wasn't ready for the fast paced crazy style of the Japanese fighter, though they both landed good shots. Around 15seconds into the 3rd Tamachan got Tenille down, who let her straight into side control and to the armbar. Impressive victory but it was clear the MT girl didn't do a day of mma training. Tenille did land a nice knee drop though :D

Yoshi Ueda vs. Tsang Hoi Kwan
Ueda won fairly easily, throwing Kwan around like a ragdoll. It was a decent fight but the only thing that stood out was Ueda's kicks, they were pretty damn hard.

Daniel Lima vs. Ryosuke Ueda (X rules)
Ueda was listed as a Karate fighter and I believe it. He just threw some weak looking body kicks, Lima threw the far better punches and easily took Ueda down in the third, but surprisingly didnt look to finish. Not an impressive fight by either.

Felise Lenui vs. Ben Edwards
Lenui sure demonstrated that not all Samoans have good chins, taking nothing away from Edwards though who really impressed me. Edwards is BIG, with quite the gut. Still, he had suprisingly fast combinations and totally dominated Felise until a rather soft KO.

Kozo Mitsuyama vs. Murat Kumas
This was a good fight, Kumas with good boxing combinations and Kozo with damn hard kicks. Kozo got the better of Kumas, landing some nice headkicks and finished it off with a flurry to the body, perhaps an early stoppage but Kumas wanted no more of it.

Giorgi had an impressive win over Brad Small, the guy has impressive punch combinations. Nice close fight between the amatuers too.

Kei Iwasaki vs. Jamie Henderson
Ugh. Iwasaki is 44 so it was impressive that he was even there and clearly had the better technique, throwing some good leg kicks. But it was just an ugly fight technique wise, Henderson was clearly brought in for Kei to beat and would have if Kei had not gassed.

^ Sounds like a good show of fights mate. We should have got you in as press for a full coverage of the event.

Bummer Hunt doesn`t know whats happening but I`m happy he was at the show as the promoter is tightly tied with K-1.
