Transformers movie: i cant wait

any guy my age or a little older must be lookin forward to this and most mma fans are of a similar age group, so i was just wondering if im the only one here who's getting really nostalgic bout this upcoming movie?

ive been watching all my old tapes and ive gotta say that for a cartoon it's aged very well...

major, you are not the only one expecting this movie. I liked transformers since I was a kid. But I hope the movie wont be too silly - I would preffer to be a little darker and blodier than the cartoons. Anyway, I always liked giant robots (especially since I am an anime/manga fan), so I'm eager to see Megatron on the big screen.
off topic : if we talk about the movies - this week I will finally have the time to go to Pirrates of Carribean III yuppppppppiiiiiiii!!!!!. I can't wait for Captain Jack Sparrow.

I had the Optimus Prime and Megatron beast wars toys! Man they rocked. I acutally still have the Megatron toy on my desk :D hes a purple dinosaur.

I can't wait! Last year I downloaded and watched the Transformers movie from the 80s for the first time in 10years, and it was even better than the previous 8 or 9 times I saw it when I was a kid.

This should be good, I'd prefer they use original looking characters but Hugo Weaving as Megatron will be awesome.

I don't remember much from the cartoons, but I'm still excited for this one as I am for most Cartoons/Animes that go Live Action! The trailer has incredible visual effects so this should be a treat!

Actually k-1 power, I'm not a big fan of anime turning into live-action, because usually they screw up, especially if it is done by westerners, but I hope Transformers will be an exception.

Well I agree with you that I don't like the idea of US filmproducers f*cking up a perfectly good anime/videogame in the transition to Live Action because the original creators should have at least a say in the matter, but I have high hopes for the future Live Action Movies of Animes/Video Games which are yet to come such as the Tekken LAM (2008) and the already 5 year long rumored DragonBall Z LAM which probably won't be out until like 2020, lol.

BTW Most Marvel Heroes that have gone Live Action were done pretty good! I really liked the X-Men movies and I am totally impressed with the Spiderman series especially the last installment was awesome in my opinion.

I saw some of the trailers/promos and am not as convinced that this is gonna kick a$$...hmm..aside from Optimus looking supah bad...I just hope as far as the trailers go compared to the actual movie, that there is more than meets the eye, if you know what I mean.
