Shinedown - Us and Them
Not what I would usually enjoy, but I love it.

Howlin' Wolf "The Chess Box"
Discs one and two are effing amazing! Disc three is a bit overproduced, 70s style, but still worthy.
I just ordered "Doin' Damage" by JVC Force, some 80s rappers. I can't wait!

Stadium Arcadia by Red Hot Chili Peppers and I think it went from mediocre to terrible in about 4 songs. Sad when there are 25 or so on the double disc.

Outside - The rough and the smooth. I searched ages for it and managed to find an original in mint condition. One of my favourite albums definitely.
Howlin' Wolf "The Chess Box"
Nice!

Music CD's, I bought a bunch of Deep Forest CD's in 1998. And the best of Ted Nugent around that same year. I went until 2007 before I bought my next music CD, which was a set of CD's with classical music. In-between there, the only CD I've bought is a relaxation CD where somebody is talking you into relaxation and it makes weird noises.
Well, kinda long post for "your last CD", but I had to think hard for this one.

Well I am! :) I saw this video on tv yesterday. I have digital tv in my room since saturday and one of the channels is a 24 hour video channel from a radio program with a very information rich website. ( www.3voor12.nl for Dutch readers) and they showed me that lovely videoclip and it sounds good too.
The last cd I bought I cannot recall but a couple of weeks ago I did buy a dvd by the Hives called Tussles in Brussels. A great band in my opinion and the main preformance on it is also really good appart from some dodgy sound channel switches to hear the crowd sing or something....

You cheeky bastard! :)
They were an influental source for my handle but in no way when it comes to musical interest although I do find it impressive how they manage to preform live on a sailing yaught without plugging in their instruments or microphones and still sound as if you are listening to one their records. :P

Haha, perfect timing! Must've been good to see the video on a nice resloution tv, I don't have any music channels so I've only ever seen it online.
It's a good album and worth checking out if you like the song.
Also this talk BZN intrigues me, any band that perform live on a yacht have got to be cool!

I will check that band out indeed but please BZN is pretty awful and what I was aiming at with performing on boats is that their video's consist of lipsyncing and are brought as being live performances..
This is a very good immitation:

Andre Williams "Movin On... With Andre Williams" Heard the song 'Jailbait' at random and this dude was instantly my hero. If you would like to hear Jailbait as well you can: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=37867746
Johnny Guitar Watson "3 Hours Past Midnight" You'd think I'd have listened to this guy before. Nope. He's bold and amazing.
v/a "Studio One Classics" These comps from Soul Jazz usually treat me way right. Not the case with this one. It's pretty boring.
Tone Loc "Loc'd After Dark" A true timeless classic. Most people only know the hits which are the worst songs on the record. It would also be hard for most people to realize the ridiculous amount of work the Dust Brothers (OG American Dust Bros not English house/techno nancy boys) put into this particular album. Probably not quite as involving as Paul's Boutique was for them, but still an incredible piece of work.
Public Enemy "Apocalypse 91... The Enemy Strikes Black" Poor outing from PE but it does have 'By the Time I Get to Arizona' which makes amazing use of a sample from my favorite Mandrill song 'Two Sisters of Mystery' which you can listen to here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=100901040

I wouldn't consider you an asshole. Not from here I mean, perhaps you are worse in real life :P.
I'd rather call you a sentimentalist and a romantic in a filosofical sense :-P

I am a big Rammstien fan. I don't know what they are saying, but they have arguably the best live shows on the planet.

Its hard to say, there is a noticible difference between the sound of the earlier albums and later albums. All are very heavy, its just I think the later ones may be a bit more 'melodic,' meaning I think they may use a wider variety of sounds rather than the big guitar riffs earlier.
I would rate Rosenrot (the latest one) over Reise Reise (the one before), but then Reise Reise is a great song and Mein Teil is definitely something a R+ fan should listen to. Amazing.

Once I was sitting in an early commuter train where everybody was silent except one guy who had head phones and was listening to Ramstein - one could hear that because he was belting out his own heart felt renditions at the same time. I don't know if the guy was aware that everybody had to listen to his growling in Deutch .... it was amusing.
