Eh, good for the UFC I guess, I'm not really a big fan of his.

I've watched him live a time or two, and he really does little for me.
Having said that there gies yet another PRIDE fighter further reducing their stable.

He's hit and miss. Sometimes he tears guys to shreds in short order and sometimes he can't really get it started. I have high hopes but reasonable expectations.

Not much of a news as shouldn't any "Pride fighter signed by UFC" announcement be. Zuffa owns both organisations. Just like it's not big news when an ex-UFC fighter signs with WEC...

Yeah, nothing special. More keen to hear who leaves zuffa; I've heard barnett and Sergi K. Anyone know anything on these guys?

They were rumored to be fighting in Dynamite USA, that's the last thing i've heard.

I guessing Bodog are pretty eager to sign both of them.

Rani fighting for WEC is a much more interesting Zuffa acquisition.

thats where hes gonna stay though until ufc specifically makes a 145 division to throw him into. he is too small to beef up imo. his linebacker takedowns are fun though.

Well, I haven't seen many of his MMA fights, but against Hominick he sure played a hazard game looking for the takedown like a zombie on amphetamine. He said he got rocked bad with Hominick's first punch and didn't remember anything that happened from there on. I hope he actually has a stand-up game when he's not half-conscious.
He's one hell of a grappler though...

I feel the same way with Rani's standup as I do about Maximus' signing with UFC. High hopes, reasonable expectations. I'm pretty sure it will continue to be his weakness.

When I first read the title I thought it said "Magnus". He was rumored to fight MMA a few years ago.

I thought Dana was bringing in some serious muscle to compete with K-1's Lesnar. Then I realized I'm just drunk again and it says Maximus.

His last fight with Gomi was a sleeper and then he bitched when he lost.
