Something tells me Marrero won't be back. 1-2 in UFC he dry-humped Kongo to a horribly dull decision, got OWNED by Gonzaga and now this....

If I never see him again, I won't lose any sleep over it. He has a scared look in his eyes when he fights. And if you listen to his post-fight comments after Kongo, he looked WORKED, and was complaining about some pain or something.. very uninspiring man.

I have!

I was at an event over a year ago where Peter Verschuren (Dutch fighter, probably rings a bell with hardcore k-1 fans) fought a weeks notice replacement from the UK. I don't remember his name except that he was coloured and very large and muscular (no not Patterson) but he was unable to make the count after three low kicks.

I was baffeled at a man his size in Thai shorts flat on the ground after three low kicks from a man in his forties...

Other than that, Marrero reacted horribly indeed and I think Kongo will scratch himself behind his ear after seeing that... I feel kinda sorry for Marrero, physically he did look good at 205 and I think Gouveia has a chance of making it big if he has his cardio sorted.
