Where does Leben go from here? I guess Dana could use him as a gatekeeper.

I have no idea, I use the post-fight interviews for snack runs, piss break, etc.

He said when he wants to know how he looked in a fight he always goes by what the audience says, tried to raise the roof, got one big collective "meh" and continued to act like an indignant immature little pissant from Burnside.
Please make him go away.

I really thought Leben won that fight by majority decision. Kalib did a nice job though.

I guess he could always go back to Japan were the competition is easier. Fighitng his way back up the ladder in WEC or ICON seems like a decent plan.

sounds like another case of ufc judging at its finest!!! a lot of people seem to be thinking that leben won a unanimous jd and kalib actually won the fight on one judge's card by 30-27... how???
i read an article by wayne mccullough the other day moaning about the judges in boxing yet again (specifically the judges in the taylor/spinks fight), and im just getting sick of it. why does mma have to use a judging system that doesnt even work in the sport that it was taken from?

I see Starnes 29-28.
Starnes was really good the first 2 round, too bad he gasses that fast, too bad he cant take a body shot (remenber at TUF???)
Leben games is so weak! Go at it with dirty sloppy boxing, the guy punch hard and can take a shot, but it aint enough to be place among the best of this busy division.

Very close fight, I had it an even draw (I know) or barely for Starnes. Both let two different rounds slip away from them.

I see Starnes 29-28.
My thoughts exactly. Leben only landed two or three meaningful shots in the fight, the body shot hurt Starnes and gave Leben one close round. He was the aggressor throughout the fight, but very ineffective. Starnes landed more on the feet and had some effective GNP, plus had two good takedowns.

Me three. Starnes was less than impressive (except for that nice sweep) but Leben looked pretty amateur out there.
Leben is retarded to talk about how exciting the fight was. Sure it was a little back and forth a couple times but the whole fight was like 1/2 speed. It was not UFC calibre. I doubt Dana has plans for iether of those guys.

i like how leben came out and cursed the judges, then mike goldberg calls him classy in defeat. fuckin moron.

I also thought Starnes won particularly due to his defence but when I checked here I had this feeling I missed something due to my antiLeben bias but couldn't be bothered with reviewing the fight.
The pleasure I get from watching the Anderson - Leben fight is also not healthy.

we had a bunch of fighters from our gym watching the fight and we all scored it 2 rounds to 1 in favor of Starnes.
Man i hate leben and any time he gets beat is a good day to me, I still cant believe he has never fixed up his striking i mean he was not even planting his FEET some times he has so much natural potential and he pisses it away.

It is increasing uncontrollable laughter caused by every shot finding it's mark. In the end Silva only misses three or four shots. The sheer efficiency with which he got dismantled. I wouldn't call it a tingling sensation...
Once someone here described a hater as wanting that a certain fighter fails instead of hoping that the other wins. If that is correct I am a Leben hater, I don't know why and I don't want to be a hater but somehow I started to feel like that somewhere on the way....

I wasn't a fan in the first place but his comments before the Silva fight turned me into a raging hater.

Don't worry mater. The pleasure you get from that is perfectly natural.
It may even be my favourite 'fight' of all time, lol.

I cannot believe Leben thinks he won it. I watched it again twice l;ast night and under UFC judging he was not close to winning.

I wanna see him sign with Bodog and go fight Fedor. :D
I expected more out of him for his final fight. He didnt give it everything I think.

Neither man did enough to win a fight IMO.
But i think Leben lost it for himself, first round was close until he got beaten at the end of round, and Starnes stole it.
Second round Leben.
Third round was his until he got sweeped. Starnes was done, and smart Leben goes for some pounding, instead of keeping fight standing and winning the round.
30-27 was BS IMO, 29-28 barely for Starnes.
