On Mauricio "Shogun" Rua:

Dana confirmed that Shogun has been signed to a UFC contract. Dana feels that Chuck Liddell has not defeated all the challengers in the light heavyweight division and that Shogun is one of them. Although he doesn't have details at this time due to his travelling schedule, Dana suggested that Shogun might appear at UFC 71 to challenge the winner of Liddell VS Jackson 2.

and now Hendo is supposed to be there tomorrow.

What the hell is left for Pride fans to enjoy with everyone leaving?

It indeed starts to look like Ufc and the Fertittas being a spider that happened to catch a big fat Pride fly in their web and is sucking all the contents out of it...

Shogun will not be there in person tonight. The big announcement is "America's Best". They'll probably use a generic introduction for Mauricio like they did with Mirko, except with fight footage.
