You know I must say that I am a little surprised by the move. Too me, Sapp would make way more money in K-1 and with less difficult fights. If he wanted to simply do MMA he would be able too, not to mention they probably would have set him up for a title shot when they decided to have a heavyweight title. Instead he goes to a competitive, but lesser paying league, that has a lot more upstarts that would threaten Sapp.

As far as the fight goes I can't say I am excited about it. I thought Thompson was going to be the next big thing, but he pretty much lost himself out of Pride. It could be a quick sluggfest, but I doubt it will be what I want it to be. Sapp by dec.
