Taken from www.insidefighting.com so I assume these are the numbers being offered at www.sportsbook.com.

PRIDE 29 Fighting Championships 2/20/2005

Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic -500
Mark Coleman +300

Sergei Kharinotov -500
Choi Mu Bae +300

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson -285
Murilo 'Ninja' Rua +225

Rogerio 'Minotoro' Nogueira -325
Alistair Overeem +250

Igor Vovchanchin -1100
Yoshiki Takahashi +700

Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua -600
Hiromitsu Kanehara +400

Fabricio Werdum -170
Tom Erikson +130

Mario Sperry -210
Hirotaka Yokoi +170

No major surprises - Cro Cop, Kharitonov, Vovchanchyn and Shogun are more or less unbackable at those odds, unless you want to lay out serious money for a small return.

While I don't really expect either to win their fight, at those odds Ninja and Overeem might be worth a look. Particularly as they're both very dangerous strikers. If I had to pick one though I'd say Overeem would be most worth a shot.

I think Coleman would be a long shot but a fighter with his wrestling skills and MMA experience should never be completely discounted, particularly after the first Cro Cop - Randleman fight. Still, I can totally understand why Cro Cop is such an overwhelming favourite and fully expect him to win in style.

I'm going to have to put a lil bit down for Takahashi and pray for a miracle.

I considered doing that but miracles of that magnitude don't happen very often.

i think betting on alistair would be the best bet to take there. he has the skill for a potential upset, which i am counting on cause i have placed some personal bets for him to win. i think he has an underrated ground game, which will get him thru the sub attempts rogerio will be dishing out. i hope.

Another card that's hard to bet on, I guess that Allistair is the best underdog but I don't want to bet on him because I think Rogerio should be able to handle him.

Mr. Blue recommended Yokoi, Overeem and Erikson. Mr. Blue's track record speaks for itself when it comes to MMA betting.
