When both were already Best 8 fighters?
They could have put in two other up and coming Japanese and had these two guys superfight instead. Then they'd have at least one more japanese chance at the Elims...

Definitely, Yasuhiro wasn't even in the tournament, I was surprised.

Yeah, I don't get it either. If both lost that would have been disastrous. Kohi lost to Andy and that's bad enough if you believe in that whole amateur status of his.

i think it was good for sato to win teh J-max i think it will do alot for his confidence for his up coming fights and might even give his next test alittle bit of worrie seeing that he is back to his old self.

sato doesn`t have much of a following yet, so I can see him getting more exposure here being good. Kohi though...and going in with an injury, is just crazy.
