The guy has an exciting way of fighting but as I mentioned on the dog a few weeks back, when taking a clean shot and shrugging it off is your best defense things are going to catch you eventually.

He ate so many shots from Hayato without problem, but then was fish dancing on 'shrooms after that second knee from Sato.

You think he will be back to his usual self next fight, or will it be more like Carter Williams (first example that comes to mind) where after being able to take some massive shots without problem, after being KO'd once he just isn`t able to take the same shots again?

Either way, TATSUJI needs to get it through his head that offense alone wont get him there.

I agree on the defense part its the one thing I thought that keeps him form winning alot he can score yes but he does not seem to be able to stop the other guy form scroing.

I think if he rest and does not spar for some time he will still be able to take some shots.

Both Sato (after BUAKAW) and JWP (Yod) have come back after getting knocked down/Out and show to have taken good shots, so its all on the recoup

That flying knee by HAYAT0 when he was in the ropes did seem to rock him. And he left himself wide open for Sato's jumping knees. He relied a lot more on his punches this time around, while in the 2005/6 season he was experimenting with combinations and even scored a down with lowkicks on HAYAT0. He still got a down with punches, but I think what he needed that day was some creativity.

His trainers need to fix his faults in the gym and open up his skill set more.
