Tournament
Su Hwan Lee vs. Sung Hoon Kim
Pan Su Kim vs. Jin Hwan Lee
Chi Bin Lim vs. Naoki Samukawa
Shinbi Taewoong vs. Yeon Jong Kim

Su Hwan Lee's one of the favourites, he performs admirably outside of MT rules and MAX rules seem like a perfect fit. He beat Garyu with ease in one of his last fights and prior to that had a run all the way to the finals of the previous Khan tournament where he lost to Lim.

Pan Su Kim showed a lot of heart in his fight with Souwer last year where he kept pushing forward despite being overmatched. Lim won the last tournament before succumbing to Kohi's leg kicks at the eliminations.

Samukawa lost to Keiji Ozaki at the DoA tournament and missed his spot in the Japan MAX. He has a chance to redeem himself, but he might lack the power to do anything to Lim. Lim is a notorious slow starter and Samukawa can beat him if he stays busy. But it's just as easy to imagine him going down to a hook.

Thopadak has a chance to qualify for MAX and with all the politics and what not this might be his only chance. His physique has changed and he's not the biggest puncher, but he still kicks like a mule and Virgil said he threw the hardest knees of them all.

Reserve Fight
K-MAX vs. Driton Rama

Rama got overwhelmed by Yong Soo Choi in his last fight.

Super Fights
Jae Sik Choi vs. ChianTao Dong
Sirimongkol Singwangcha vs. Han Wul Kim

I'm sure most people know Jae Sik Choi. Sirimongkol is a former boxing champion. Sirimongkol's boxing record (http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=005745)

Yong Soo Choi is also rumoured to fight and Yong Soo Park as well. You might know Park as the bald TKD dude. I'm not sure Kaoklai has recovered from that KO though, he was a possible opponent for him.

Why is Kaoklai on that poster and now on the card?

"I'm not sure Kaoklai has recovered from that KO though, he was a possible opponent for him."

Yong Soo Choi also dropped out of his fight against Masato so I don't know what the word on his "injury" is. He also opted not to fight in South Africa not-so long ago.

To clarify Kaoklai would be fighting against Yong Soo Park.

You can watch his K-1 fights on a not-to-be-named video site.

Tournament
Su Hwan Lee vs. Sung Hoon Kim
Pan Su Kim vs. Jin Hwan Lee
Chi Bin Lim vs. Naoki Samukawa
Shinbi Taewoong vs. Yeon Jong Kim

Winner: Su Hwan Lee

Reserve Fight
K-MAX vs. Driton Rama

Super Fights
Jae Sik Choi vs. ChianTao Dong
Sirimongkol Singwangcha vs. Han Wul Kim
Yong Soo Choi vs. Yoshiharu Nasu
Kaoklai Kaennorsing vs. Yong Soo Park

Shinbi looked relaxed (read: bored out of his mind almost) in the quarter finals. The first round not much happened, luckily the second and third made up for it. He simply evaded anything Kim attempted to throw at him and won his fight by decision, but sadly he aggravated an injury and thus Yeong Jong Kim made his way to the semis to fight Lim.

Su Hwan Lee won his first fight by KO in the first round, he scored a knockdown with a punch on Sung Hoon who was grimacing in pain even when he got up to his feet. Chi Bin was too sharp for Samukawa as expected, he kept him at bay with counters and would sometimes step in as if he was going to clinch only to hit him with hooks or uppercuts.

The semi-finals were predictable and like the previous year, Su Hwan and Chi Bin fought in the finals. The fight never shifted into second gear after the feeling out process as Su Hwan exploded with a vicious middle kick causing Chi Bin to drop to the canvas and stay there. I think he can do some damage in MAX as long as he doesn't fight any heavy hitters.

Sirimongkol seemed to be having fun in his fight, but his opponent managed to keep the fight somewhat interesting. He got downed in the first though by a counter by Sirimongkol. Sirimongkol threw a spinning back heel kick/knee to the body combination in the second before finishing the fight with a hook to the head in the third.

Yong Soo Choi didn't look all that great against his gunshy opponent who didn't take advantage of Choi's stylistic disadvantages in the ring instead opting to back off most of the time.

Kaoklai vs. Park was a nightmare to watch. Both fought on the defensive and I can understand why they ordered an extra round, I can tell you that Kaoklai was not the preferred winner though. Park's conditioning made Kaoklai's task easier and he ended up winning the fight on points.
