Popovici (opponent of Daniel Torok) is a huge guy (like 2.10 m and ~120 kg) but has almost zero fighting experience (2 or 3 kickboxing matches entry level) whereas Torok, without having fought too much in kickboxing is quite an accomplished Kyokushin fighter. It was discussed on the local forum in my place that this is not a very reasonable matchup.

Cris Knowles form the UK, I am not saying anything bad about the guy, but Smiler has been winning like crazy. He should be in this.

Ostojic is supposed to fight tomorow in Rijeka, Croatia. I hope he quits on his fight in Croatia and focuses on this K-1 Hungry :-) turnamnet.

It would be nice to see someone so talented actually do something

You got any info on Dzevad Poturak Loreia? He seems to be on a winning spree lately.

Hes my pick to take the tournament.

Hell yeah, I love to here that Iggy is taking people out the way he is supposed to. Good win for Kemayo and I am interested to see somemore from this Neledva guy who took the tourny.

Ah crap Poturak lost in finals, seems he had a tough fight with Ostojic?

I've just seen the fight.

Iggy looked very focused, and got himself a haircut.
His opponent didn't do much apart from circling around Iggy, and then walked into a left jab.
KO

I see from the other camera angle that it wasn't a jab

Did you postpone your comeback until Iggy's comeback? :)

Alexey and his trainer looked very happy after the fight:

Something like that :) I was out in sympathy. How can you be happy thinking someone's career is over? I just need Barrera to beat Marquez and ODLH to whup Mayweather and I'll be as happy as a pig in muck.

Hey Missy!!

Yeah I originally thought it was a stiff jab, but it appears to be that trademark Iggy overhand left that he throws from that weird angle. I recall he stunned Pavel Majer with the same punch for an 8 count.

This has really brightened up an otherwise shitty week. Hope this will set the standard for Iggy for 2007. And what's wrong with his hair? Looks perfectly fine to me. Overall, there's a lot of odd looking do's in kickboxing.

Lol @ the funny comments. Yeah, I'm praying all major physical problems are done now, finally. It's great to see him in actual fighting form and happy for a win (he basicly just nods and walk to his corner, bored, after scoring a win). Lets hope he'll use this year as a serious get-back opportunity! This has made my day, for sure! Thanks for the pics and results.

I just saw the fight and Iggy looked great. Very focused and sharp. I would have liked to see some more kicking from him to see the status of his legs/knees, but the fight was over in less than 2 minutes so he didn't really get a chance. I hope he stays in this shape and erverything continues to go like in this fight!
