Was wondering what people think of these. I'm a big fan, and while I appreciate the Sixth Sense is very good it just doesn't do it for me the way Unbreakable and The Village do. I love those two. I find Signs enjoyable, though the actual aliens are a bit of a letdown.

By the way, not sure if anyone else has noticed (sure they have but I've not seen it anywhere) but during the scene in Unbreakable where Bruce Willis rescues the family you can hear the commentary of Ttio Ortiz v. Frank Shamrock coming from a TV in the background.

Unbreakable was very cool, and I too enjoyed Signs even though it did appear they blew thier special effects budject on Mel`s acting fee.

The Villiage I will have to see. I haven`t even heard of it but thats not unusual in Japan.

Sixth Sense was cool, and well made, but I personally prefered Stir of Echo (Keven Bacon).

He tells a story with a twist in the end. 6th Sense is a captivating story and the end just comes as a surprise and adds a whole new meaning to an already great story that's beem told. Unbreakable, however, failed to captivate me so it was a let down. The story is good, but it's not working well on the screen. Kinda seemed rushed, like just getting a movie out in his name while people are still talking about 6th Sense. Signs I'm not sure about because I walked out during the movie. Village I haven't seen.

Probably the best thing on Night's story telling talent is the way he chooses to concentrate on human behaviour, inside fantasy/mystical happenings or events. This is clear on Signs, where he could just go for a Mars attack kind of aproach and let everyone see the battles, but actually shooses to focus on a single family, how the progress of the world wide events affect each family member, how they react, kinda like what would be the real perception of a guy like you and me, when families gatter before their tv to know what is happening in the world. Unbreakable is similar, instead of having a super hero story, it actually makes you think of a belieavable possibily, by putting Bruce's character on the real, every day world, and we see him discover, question himslef and get used to the idea of actually having abilities he thought could only exist in comics wrold. The Village, for those who study sociology or architecture, is just brilliant. The whole movie is figurative, you have to be very cautions to see the whole world after the horror movie premise...

Sixth Sense was an unexpected masterpiece.

Unbreakable was my favorite film he made.

I liked Signs, including the Aliens.

The Village didn't do a lot for me.

However, he is an excellent film maker and a good story teller.

Sixth sense was cool, I digged Unbreakable, but not the first time, I thought it totally sucked. After seeing it again, my opinion was a little bit turned. The Village was cool I think, allthough it was being mocked upon everywhere I read reviews. But I don't take reviews for granted until I see the movie myself.

That's why I was so surprised Signs got so many positive reviews. Damn, this was one of the worst movies ever being made imo. To see what I mean, this page just describes the movie SO well. Argh it's so damn funny: http://maddox.xmission.com/signs.html

But well, Shyamalalalalalalalalala (;)) is known for his plot twists, so I think the Village was not what most expected I guess, but I could really appreciate the story, I was so in it, until... you know. Yeah, pretty good movie I must say. But Signs, that was just a big mistake.

I was looking at a dvd package with 6 sense, signs and unbreakable today. It was only 20 euros so I`ll definitely buy it.

I've got that. Its definitely worth getting. Some of the extras on Unbreakable are really good and there's some decent ones for Signs and 6th Sense too.

sounds nice, and the price is awesome too. Around here, one film is usually 20-30 euros.

all his movies:

- great opennings
- even better plot development
- but somehow he can't keep that level until the end, and the last part of his movies always are the worst part...

IMO Signs and 6th sense are awsome all the way through, while Unbreakable isn`t quite as good.
