tannerdude04: and you are putting way too much of your body into it, sure it may have more power but you have no balance right after punching
the_powerpuncher : if you notice, it took me a few minutes just to get the melon to sit on the pipe,
tannerdude04: all it shows on the clip is you hitting it
tannerdude04: but i'm talking mainly talking about the punching mitts clip
the_powerpuncher : i knew i couldn't touch it or it would fall off the pipe, and i touched it by mistake, and it started to fall, i had to hit right that second or watch it fall on the ground

tannerdude04: i'm no expert, but i've been working with this guy who used to run his own boxing gym and has been training and just been around boxing his whole life

tannerdude04: i used to just swing big haymakers all the time, like you are, now he's got my technique sharpened, and the punches are 10x more effective
the_powerpuncher : i been to a few gyms, that dont mean they know every thing
the_powerpuncher : they teach you to lean forward on your front foot dont they
tannerdude04: that's not what i was taught

tannerdude04: when i throw a straight right, my right knee dips down a little bit and i come up on the ball of my foot

the_powerpuncher : I just demonstrated a couple punches, thats all, I am a old man, 40 years old with a bad back, I have screws in my spine
tannerdude04: you also disrespected some of the great boxers of today, which is what mainly pissed me off
the_powerpuncher : style makes fights, and their styles can be improved on
tannerdude04: look man, Evander, Roy Jones, and Delahoya all got medals in the olympics, and all won world championships in multiple weight classes, there is nothing they need to add to their style
the_powerpuncher : DLH aint knocked nobody out in a long time its because he of his style,
tannerdude04: no, it's because he has been moving up in weight classes very quickly
tannerdude04: he started out at 130lbs, of course he's not gonna be KO'ing guys as easy when he's at 154 and 160
tannerdude04: and like i said he's a boxer-puncher, not a puncher, he fights his best when he's up on his toes and moving around
the_powerpuncher : he is moving back to 147 because thinks he dont have power at 154, size and weight has nothing to do with power, its all in how you bring it

tannerdude04: you may have cold cocked some guys on the street before, but that in no way allows you to tell olympic gold meddallists and world champions how to punch
