Hi everyone on Kakutougi!
Im an amature Thai Boxer from England and I am wanting to train in Holland for a couple of weeks. I was thinking of Vos gym or Mejiro Gym. I read the forums lots and realise that a lot of Dutch guys post on here, I was wondering if anyone has any advice or helpfull contacts.
Thank You in advance

Welcome aboard.
This thread might be a good starter, other than that I`ll bow out and let the Dutch members reply.

I have been in the muncipality of Amsterdam, but never op de Dam, de Wallen, the canals.
In 2007 I want to go there.

What do you mean exactly? It's very difficult to upset someone in Holland, especially in Amsterdam.
Hell, I would give as a tip not to be offended yourself. The Dutch are known for their 'direct approach' (or by some cultures referred to as 'rude' ;) ).
You'll catch my drift :P
Furthermore, if you want tips from an experienced fighter, you can PM Gary Turner who posts here under the name "Smiler', he trains for a long while now in Holland (with Fighting Factory Carbin), so he can give you some pointer and all the ins and outs)

Well, you sound as a polite man... so if you are polite there is no worry for upseting anyone. Maybe if you know some Dutch words, people might like it and it breaks the ice.
