Until I come back with a bit of rest after a sleepless night :

Felix's list will change (reckonably) a bit :

Daniel Ghita (Ro) KO-d Tony Gregory (Fr) (overhand right) R II, K-1 rules, open weight and thus took revenge for the previous defeat from Gregory.
I will post pictures and clips from the event when available.

And, unfortuneatly, Atodiresei lost again by decision with Diarra Modibo.

Ghita got his revenge I see. Good showing for Romania's best heavyweight. Two strait losses may have ended my hopes of seeing Atodiresei in the Max next year.

Maybe if he will beat Samir(I realy don't think he can) he will be in MAX

There is no direct relationship between beating someone or losing to someone (especially if they do not belong to K-1 fighters already being inside the circuit) and the presence or absence in K-1 Max. To anticipate a bit (and "Respect Gym" looks with great expectations, although also with rational approaches to this), promoter Eduard Irimia met yesterday Bas Boon and Daisuke Teraguchi (sent by FEG and in charge of management for cooperations with Europe) and proposed Ionut Atodiresei as contender in Max subsidiaries of Europe. There was no enthusiastic "yes, sure" answer, but nevertheless there were neither diplomatically expressed refusals like "don't call us, we call you". Now we all know that from a matter of principle discussion until a certain participation to an event there is a long way to go, but the start was good. According to my info, Daniel Ghita is already taken into account for a qualifier for K-1 Amsterdam, and it seems that in any event he will be also competing for Oktagon Milan. I can't say more, it's already too much anticipative.
There were also some discussions that if the budget will be made, Romania can host a subsidiary of K-1 Heros, the official announcement was made on tv these days too.
These things said, Atodiresei needs to change some things in his gameplan to adjust to motion fighters, but sometimes one cannot pack two legs in the same shoe - a lot of work had to be done to increase power so as to correspond to at least -67 A class requirements by part of serious fighters. IMO the revenge match was taken too close, there were scarcely 6 weeks to prepare. Next year will tell.

Enjoy the debute match of Andrei Buda (Respect Gym) vs. Marius Tita (-70 kg, k-1 rules) at the last Local Kombat event. It was anticipated as a tough match for Andrei, a boy at 21 y o coming from boxing and only at his 8-th kickboxing match, Tita being a veteran with above 100 bouts amateur+pro who faced (to give the strongest example) twice Florin Vintila @ 73 kg. Instead, it turned into a slugfest with Buda performing perhaps the Romanian KO of the year :

Alexander Dinogeticus would be more appropriate taking into account his name and his region, hehe :P
