7th of this month as you might know, he is fighting Cyborg in Pancrase.
He has recently proposed to Pancrase they put on a 5x5 Chute Boxe vs Pancrase event, which the promotor is interested in. His twist is they decide who fights who by tug-of-war. lol
He has also said he wants to fight Shogun, as if he first beats Cyborg & then Shogun, Silva will have to give him the rematch he wants.
Not only that, he has said he wants to fight Mirko NYE to revenge Josh`s loss.....
What I personally would LOVE to see, is Hendo vs Kondo. Both balls to the wall guys that are small for the class they fight in.

Kondo vs Shogun is actually a great idea! Hope PRIDE agrees to it for their next Bushido event.

Kondo vs. Cyborg will be an amazing fight, I can't wait! I'm rooting for Kondo, but he'll definitely have his hands full. Cyborg is NO joke. Hopefully, Kondo won't get flashbacks of Silva.
The next Pancrase event has an amazing card. I can't wait for it!

I think Kondo can beat Cyborg, but then I thought he might be able to upset Wanderlei too and he just got savaged. And if he beats Cyborg I'd pick him against Shogun as well. Not so sure about Ninja and I don't really see any point in a Wanderlei rematch. Obviously Kondo won't back down from any challenge but that one could be a little unhealthy for him.
LOL at the Tug of War thing too. Hopefully they actually do it since I think Pancrase needs to lighten up a little and get a bit more gimmicky. They pulled some great crowds when they did the feud with New Japan. The only problem is that I think the whole X vs Chute Boxe/Gracies/whoever might be a little played out promotionally since it was such a staple of the first few Bushido shows. It does have the potential to be a cracking show though.

Seems Kondo wont be happy with a mere "W" placed next to his name against Cyborg. He has said he wants to KO him to show Japanese fighters ARE strong.

He's an exciting fighter.
Win, lose, or draw.
He's very valiant and has the type of attitude all mixed martial artists should have.

I'd like to see Kondo against Suloev. That would be a war!

kaakun, are you actually going to this event?
I was very close to buying tickets for this event, but NK Hall is a bit of a pain to get to, so I figured I'll watch it from the comfort of my living room!!
It'll be on SkyPerfectv on ppv.
This is an awesome Pancrase card.

Gonna be a great event, I think. Cyborg/Kondo and Misaki/Marquardt (sp?) are gonna be great fights!!! Also looking forward to Kohsaka/Waterman.

I think he will beat Cyborg (who has a punchers chance, and we don't know what effects the Silva fight had on Kondo), but he would be giving up a lot of weight and height to Shogun, that would be a tough fight for him (he would have a chance because Shogun is somewhat sloppy).
