Gomi vs Hansen NYE? [Archive]

Just read on a swedish forum that Hansen has asked Pride to give him a fight with Gomi on NYE. It came from two separate sources, one them is usually very reliable.

It would be an understatement to think that it would be a war. Hopefully we will see Gomi as we are used to see him. Great fight. Dont really know who would win it - Gomi has to be the slight favourite though.

What do you think, will it happen?

He was not having his best day but won in the first round I think.

Good re-match I thought? but I would like to see Marcus Aurellio x Hansen and Gomi x Ishida. Let Luis Azverdo x Mach and let Shaolin make his debut

Gilbert Melendez vs Shinya Aoki
Hayato Sakurai vs David Bielkheden

Those are the fights I'd like to see next at the 160lbs division in Bushido.

Thats a dreamcard right there krikit.

If this is true and the fight does go down, I pick Hansen. This guy is incredible, just plain incredible. Never afraid, always ready to trade, well rounded, exciting. Damn, I became a HUGE fan after watching his fight against Mach live and being in his interview. His fight with Azaerdo, Mach, Uno - fucking classics.

Incidentally he is the only guy ever to beat JZ :P
