The card was to be headlined by Heath Herring vs. Pedro Rizzo and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Marvin Eastman, with a "Brazil vs. USA" theme and other bouts incleading the MMA debut of The Contender coach and heavyweight boxing contender Jeremy Williams.

I just read this too. Sad news. The WFA has some good fighters on their roster. Hopefully they can turn it around.

Quite honestly, I'd be very, very surprised if they run another show.

um, ermmm....fightsport?

that post was more for humerous purposes than anything. that and ive said they would probably go under very soon due to their payroll and lack of attendence and money being made on the first show.

wonder if Rampage just lost a hell of a lot of value. If WFA go under there will be even less reason for Dana to pay him "happy money" to get into UFC. Dana could even say Jackson has now proven to be not the draw in the US he feels he is.

I thought Rampage was over-paid in his fight vs Matt. If I remember right, Rampage made like 200k. Which was just about what all of the other fighters made combined!

No doubt Rampage is second guessing his move now. If he went to the UFC and got a few wins, he could have eventually made some "happy $".
