Main event (3) 62kg contract 5x3
Satoshi Kobayashi (WKA world Muay Thai lightweight champion) vs. Jalernchai Kesagym (Rajadamnern, WMC and Omnoi lightweight champion)
Main event (2) 68kg contract 5x3
Daiki (Rajadamnern welterweight #8 and AJKF welterweight champion) vs. Genkaj Chuwatanna (Rajadamnern and Thailand welterweight #3)
Main event (1) lightweight Sudden death match (3x3 + 1 extension round)
Haruaki Otsuki (WPKC world Muay Thai lightweight champion) vs. Masami Yamamoto (NJKF lightweight #1)
I'm only listing the main event bouts obviously, but all three of the fights deserve some attention.
Kobayashi has been on roll ignoring his cut stoppage loss to Yodkunglai Noonkamgym which he was quick to avenge with a first round KO back in June. Jalernchai is a great champion and experts claimed that he might have been too much for challenger Hiroki Ishii last year, but Ishii proved them wrong. Most people believed Ishii won Jalernchai's Rajadamnern title but it was not to be. Ishii and Kobayashi aren't really comparable however. Kobayashi is also getting older and more susceptible to cuts and elbows are one of Jalernchai's stronger weapons.
Daiki's one of Japan's best prospects and knows how to control fights with his kicks and punches. He's also known to finish his fights more often than not. Currently undefeated, his wins in Thailand earned him a ranking in Rajadamnern and it seems like he's in pursuit of a stadium title. This fight should tell us what his exact level is right now and should be a nice test.
Haruaki Otsuki returns after a disastrous loss in Thailand back in 2005 against the young Chonlaek. The previously unbeaten Japanese lightweight kingpin is back against a game Japanese opponent. Yamamoto is not afraid to trade and is not above sticking close to his opponent while he retaliates. Otsuki's a fighter that attacks with a low guard and in bursts. Otsuki's been injury prone and busy with his career outside of the sport and it remains to be seen if he has to deal with ring rust.
The event takes place this Sunday.
