Yeah, Im not happy the way UFC has turned out this year as far as title-fights have turned out.

First off - Arlovski lost twice to TS. Even if I dont like AA that much I would much rather see him as champ than TS (who wouldnt?).
Then Liddell beat Sobral.
Followed by Hughes beating Penn.

BUT

Anderson Silva made the biggest and most importnant win in the UFC this year. So my hopes are that his win was the start of a change of champions.

First Franklin, then Hughes and Sylvia.

I do like Liddell and prefer him over Ortiz but... Wanderlei...

Im not questioning his skills (as I do with TS) but rather his appearance. Of course he deserves to be the champ as he has beaten all put in front of him (more or less - Im still whining about the fight with Verissimo). What annoys me is his appearance and the way he acts and talk. I just dislike him. Hate is a way too strong word.

I actually like Sylvia and I expect him to KO Monson. Monson is just too slow and short to be the HW champ. If he gets past Sylvia, he'll lose soon IMO.

As for Hughes, I respect his skills greatly but I'd like to see GSP take his belt. GSP is such a high energy guy and is more exciting. I hope it is controversial cause I'd love to see a rematch. I hate rematches usually but GSP, Hughes, and Penn in any combo is worth my money.
