You have once said that you’d like to face Pride fighters and you even named Fedor Emelianenko. Has that fight been offered to you? Why did it not happen? How do you think you’d do against the Russian?
No, that fight has never been offered to me. After I beat Arlovski for the second time, I heard that Wanderlei had challenged Liddell so as soon I got home I called Dana White and asked what were the chances of UFC champions fighting against Pride’s. He said there was no chance of that happening. Against Fedor? I would beat him. I Think my striking is better and I think he hasn’t fought a tall striker like I am.

Semmy Shilt. It's interesting because Tim says that the fight with Fedor has never been offered to him, someone is lying. I think that Fedor would demolish him, too.

Semmy is the first thing that came to my mind too. A far more accomplished striker than Tim too.
And you are right, someone is telling some major lies. According to Tim Dana was saying from dat one that Chuck would be fighting Silva either which makes things interesting.

yeah he is the ufc champ. hes gonna hype himself to be the best in the world. he would lose to fedor, we all know. but hey, he has confidence in himself to be the best in the world. i dont think he would get chumped by fedor quickly either. he is big and does know how to use his body. i can see that getting him through a round.
