Here's A Quick Look At How MMA Odds Work:

The above odds are based on what is known as "A money line"

Money line - odds expressed in terms of money. With money odds, whenever there is a minus (-) you lay that amount to win a hundred dollars, where there is a plus (+) you get that amount for every hundred dollars wagered.

Money line betting is simply wagering on the contest based on a given price. In MMA this means the fighter wagered on has to win the fight outright.

* The minus sign (e.g .-130) always indicates the favorite and the amount you must bet to win $100.

* The plus sign (e.g.+110) always indicates the underdog and the amount you win for every $100 bet (you may wager more or less).

* Using this example, therefore, you would bet $130 to win $100 on the favorite, while for the underdog you would bet $100 to win $110.

In the context of the MMA event odds above:

TAKANORI GOMI is currently @ -270 this means you have to bet $270 to win $100. If you win, the original risk of $270 & also the $100 you won gets added to your account. For a total return of $370.

MARCUS AURELIO is currently @ +230 this means you have to bet $100 to win $230. If you win, the original risk of $100 & also the $230 you won gets added to your account. For a total return of $330.

If the fight ends in a draw, no contest or it simply does not happen, you will get your money back.

I don't think Yoon will win unless it's by sub. Sik is his middle name. I'd go with Marcus as well.

Heh, I was thinking Gono and Sik as well before I even saw everyone else's replies. Gono's a top level striker in MMA, so he may well surprise Kang and Busta is getting up there in age and is becoming less consistent while Sik is improving every fight and is still relatively young.

^ So that's really what people are waiting from this fight. To see if time has finally caught up to Busta. As an MMA fighter he's on a different level than Sik.
And save your money as Gono will surely lose. Kang is better than him at everything.

Imo time has caught up with him, its just a matter of how much. Bustamente hasnt looked good the last year and I dont see him knocking Sik out. I think this match will turn into a decision-party with Sik beeing the more active.

As far as Gono goes, he has only lost to Shogun and Henderson the last 5 years. Though I agree with you, if theres someone in that weight who has improved even more its Kang. Hes been looking extremly good thoughtout this whole tournament and I wasnt expecting him to be as consistent as he has been. Still, I think Kang might be a bit overhyped - I thought that against Suloev but was proved wrong - to say atleast. Still - I dont think it will a walk in the park for Kang and I might bet against him - if the odds are good which Im sure the Sherdoggers will take care of.
