Some VERY interesting numbers there.

So wich numbers should be taken seriously there? not fedors for sure, perhaps some of the american fighters but i really doubt any of those are the actual number they got in the pocket, dindt the k1 do the same thing cause of tax issues and such.
"Given that Pride's Japan-based shows regularly fill the 35,000-seat Saitama Super Arena, it's likely that the salaries for the USA event were smaller than the salaries for a show in Japan, but it's unlikely that the two sets of numbers would be drastically different from one another."
Dont know why he brings seat numbers up as it wont affect salary since they most likley get their normal rate with the exeption of the payout method being different for this event. And finding it unlikley that fedors actual salary is drasticlally different from a 100K? I think its a given that he is far from that number.

I knew it, Sean O'Haire is not only a great fighter but also deserving of a higher payroll than the likes of Nakamura etc...;).

exactly. I don't think Fedor would bother rolling out of bed for that money.

Yeah, he apparently made $2M to beat Cro Cop. On the other hand that's a challenge, whereas Coleman didn't have much of a chance.

I believe if he gets paid in Japan he pays around 30% tax, whereas if it is in the US he pays 50% as a non-resident. If those figures are close then 20% is a huge chunk of change to throw away.

This has been done to death on Sherdog (just like most topics ;)). But here's what I think is quite legit source:
http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/2006/Oct-21-Sat-2006/sports/10349972.html
According to Nevada Athletic Commission records, his base purse for tonight's bout is $100,000, though his payday could near $1 million when bonuses and pay-per-view revenues are included.
Notice that the article was written before the event.
But, well, I guess we'll never know the absolute truth. Maybe the US fighters' salaries are real numbers, though.
PS. Hey anyone heard about Jacare being at the show and according to himself he's in talks with Sakakibara and folks? Hopefully they sign him.

No, I didn't. Hope it's true and they sign him in a hurry.

Zuffa clearly get away with keeping some of their fighter's pay a closely guarded secret. Don't see why Pride would be any different.

Who'd thougt Fedor makes less than half of what Chuck does, and only 10% of what Tito does :D
