just curious as to what are the better kickboxing organizations to look out for? i dont get anything like that on TV here, so i dont know much. i just know where to look for bootlegs of events. looking to further educate myself in the combat sports world, and want to see some good fights. any help would be much appreciated.

Organisations as in ISKA, IKF, WKA, WMC, IMTC, WCMTA, IFMA, WAKO, WPKL etc?

Superleaugue is good stuff indeed but their last event in Uden was far from ok, they shouldn't do that too often...

Superleague's main problem seems the lack of super fighters on their main classes, 70 and 73 killos. Most top guys have fight each other and completed the cicle (for example, Ole already fought Merza twice) and i think the match ups are loosing their points slightly. I think they should really put all energies on finding more highly talented guys, and posibly make the events linked to some kind of competition or title, so the fighters could have someting to aim at and be inspired, rather than single fights only. Another thing that I miss when watching Superleague is the cross between weight classes, because they often restrict the event to the alredy mentioned 70-73 killos, but surely there are incredible fights both at lower and higher weights that could be explored. Also they could really think about if not a heavyweight class (whose main "cream" is already taken by K1) at least a cruiser wieght class, because there are serious talent in this class that is often completely ignored and overlooked by K1 - few examples are Aziz Kathou, Michael McDonald, Petar Majstorovic, Martin Holm (whose natural weight is cruiser), Sergei Gur, etc...

Mago is right indeed but I can ensure you that there are loads of talents in that 70 kg weight class. There are some really exiting fighters that haven't been in the sl ring yet.

Some sort of lhw class is something they really should consider indeed. People who don't get the chance they deserve in k-1 (who prefers the likes of Botha and Akebono) should get a league of their own like the old k-2. You can add Dewey Cooper, Vitali Akramenko, Badr Hari, Gohkan Saki, Aschwin Balrak (who I haven't seen fighting at that weight yet) to that list.

yeah that would be great. some of the LHW that have to fight in the k-1 class are usually screwed over because the others are just so much bigger. i dont understand why the k-2 class was ever discontinued. k-1 could definetly get more talent coming their way with a k-2 division. oh well though, hopefully someone will think of something for these guys.

Look for AJKF (All Japan Kickboxing Federation), S-1 Championships (hosted by the king of Thailand I will post a link in a moment, my buddy Sirahop Jr. helps run the promotion), Shootboxing (holds the S-Cup tournaments and other great fights), SHIN NIHON KICKBOXING ASSOCIATION (does not hold events as often but accessible), IKUSA holds a lot of shows in Japan. Superleague is good for European promotions.
A-1 held by Tarik Solak who used to run the K-1 Oceania tournament. This will get you started.

I agree about the WKA. Not current enough at all. Champions in their ranks that have been retired for years.
