Even with the difficulties, some nice names in there. Cheering for Fadi all the way, I'm hoping to see him in Max one day too.

Armen Petrosian is a tough young man (he beat one of my boys in the S-1 Nova Gorica quarterfinals this year, hehe) but he's a bit too raw for Merza, and laso quite young (barely out of his teens). I am curious about Peter Crooke vs. his elder brother Gevorg. Gevorg is very sharp, able to change plans in a blink and bites to any mistake from any angle. This will be a young (bad) dog vs. an old (very bad) dog :)

I thought so too. It is good to see that Peter Crooke and Marza are fighting again.

How ironic. Just read on mixfight that they cancelled the event 15 minutes (!!!) before it started. Because they couldn't pay their fighters. Lot of riots ofcourse, because everyone wanted their money back.
Seemed that a 4 Italian fighters were supposed to fight, but still had to get paid for prior fights, so they demanded half of their paycheck before the fight. When Superleague did give it, they just took off. Other fighters picked up on that and also demanded money before the fight.
Anyway, seemed that the chainreaction caused everything to break.
(can anyone confirm this?)

The italians (Petrosian brothers) had their staff protesting the weigh-in. Their agreement was not to fight above 70 kg (Gevorg actually is fighting currently at 67). Both opponents seem to have been way above it, and if I am not mistaking the opponents didn't know about the weight agreed either. They also invited Kaoponlek (who fights currently lightwelter, 64), the opponent according to my info was like 72.

So in conclusion, it was just one big mess?

yep,Komsic coach of Jurkovic and Venturini who both was supposed to fight there as well as couple of young fighters who was supposed to fight on undercard fights, asked for some money in advance, cause he already knew about SL not paying their fighters.
SL owners/managers(not sure)first said that they will pay after, then they said they will pay on some account but he still insisted on money then they said they paid for Petrosyans, some thai fighter and croatians to some manager(croatian team never heard of that man)but they couldnt contact him anymore.then Komsic lost his patience and told his fighters 10 minutes before the show to dress up and they went.he told us that the day after on Craotia vs Serbia fights where Jurkovic,Venturini and i fought.
i guess that wasnt the only messy part about that evening but the one i heard from the man who was there
Zoraj and Princ who fought before on SL still havent received their paychecks yet

to be brutally honest, I don`t care. Everyone I know is bitching about being owed money from them If they are not paying then they are not the sort of org needed to promote the sport, and indeed in the long run we may be better off without them.

Superleague are seriously the worst and most corrupt fighting organisation ever.
Im happy this happened to them and I hope that this creates some public response and hopefully the fighters who travelled there get paid and all of the countless other fighters over the last 2 years who havent been paid yet.

When I heard from the insider that they would not pay fighters and when we tried to negotiate Jeff Ford to fight over there, I to was happy that they folded. You can not treat fighters in this manner.
