Hey guys ive been busy this week so I didnt have time to do this but now I will make a write up of all the fights.
__________________________________________________ __________________
Leamy Tato vs. Daniel Tai
Leamy was a new guy filling in for one of the many injured fighters. Leamy very inexperienced when compared to Daniel Tai and it looked like a sure win for Tai. Leamy looked good from the start, closing the distance and using crisp tight punches on Tai. Tai put in a few lows which landed but stopped pressuring. Second round was all Leamy, steam rolling forward and stringing together fluid punch combos and kicking the legs and body of Tai. In the third Tai looked very tired and didnt do anything basically and just got outworked.
Winner: Leamy Tato via 3rd round unanimous decision.
Felise Leniu vs. Chris Chrisopoulides
Felise was another fill in but is reasonably experienced with some kickboxing fights in Australia and a few MMA fights, however Chris was expected to take this as he was a regular in the K-1 Oceania. Fight started out with Chris pressuring with some hard kicks, backing Felise into the corner and throwing down, when he tried a step up knee Felise caught him with a big overhand right clipping his chin and sending him down. He beat the count but after being inspected by the referee was deemed unfit to continue.
Winner: Felise Leniu via 1st round TKO.
Doug Viney vs. Matt Samoa
Doug used his crisp boxing techniques and agility to move and pepper off the slower and 20kg heavier Matt. Matt looked dangerous throwing a few hard punches that missed, and some suprising head kicks. In the second round Doug continued to work the jab and just pick off Matt who frequently smiled back. Matt caught Doug with a dangerous knee to the head that looked like it partially connected but Doug didnt drop and continued to eventually put Matt in trouble with a big punch that wobbled him and outworked him to score a well earned win.

Winner: Doug Viney via 3rd round unanimous decision.
Rueben De Jong vs. Pete Sampson
This was Rueben's second K-1 fight after losing a hard fought bout via decision against Jason Suttie. Ive seen Pete fight before and he has all the tools to go far (6'5, 115 kg with massive kicks). Despite being towered over by the massive 140kg Rueben, Pete proved too much with his power. After many failed attempts at a rolling thunder (leave it to Graham ;)) Pete stung Rueben with a punch as Rueben was buckling from a low kick and it gave him an eight count that he beat. Rueben lasted until the third round where the chopping leg kicks from Sampson were just to much and after being backed into a corner Rueben was literally jumping to avoid being kicked, a crunching leg kick crumpled Rueben and dropped him for the count.

Winner: Pete Sampson via 3rd round KO.
Peter Graham vs. Andrew Peck
Peter had Pettas in his corner and Peck looked slim and fit in this fight. Peck started out strong using his height advantage to keep Graham out of reach and was working the kicks well which put Grahams tactics off for a time. After the round in the corner Pettas was giving good advice to Graham which Graham obviously followed as he worked the low kicks in the second round to drop Peck to one knee and give him his first ever low kick knockdown (and Peck is a experienced Oceania K-1 fighter), after Peck beat the count Graham rushed in landing a flurry of accurate straight punches that dropped Peck and as he was falling he hit him with another low kick for good measure. Peck was unable to beat the count.

Peter on the left.
Winner: Peter Graham via 2nd round KO.
Jason Suttie vs. Simi Tai
Simi was another fill in who was very inexperienced. The fight started out slow with both fighters not keen to exchange strikes. In the second round Jason threw a low kick that went under the leg of Simi and hit the back of his knee, still standing Simi told the ref he didnt want to fight and the fight was stopped.

Suttie on the left.
Winner: Jason Suttie via 2nd round TKO.
Jan Antolik vs. Charles August - 78KG Superfight
Jan started off strong as usual outpointing Charles with punches, kicks and knees. Jan threw 3-4 punch combos and finished each with a strong head kick to fluster Charles and easily take the first round with his work rate and finesse. In the second Charles came out much more agressive, he started throwing huge straight rights and overhands in hope of knocking out the never stopping Jan. A few grazed Jan but none hurt him as Jan continued to out work Charles with blazing hand combos and kicks. In the third Charles looked dangerous with his right hand counters but none found the mark on the evasive Jan. In the fights most exciting moment, Jan landed a step up body knee that folded Charles who grabbed Jan's leg and avoided being dropped. Jan went in to finish it with punches and kick combos but the bell sounded to end the fight.
