There is a short article in navi (taken from DailySports) about Virgil and Andy having an "African alliance". With Virgil coming from South Africa and Andy from Nigeria, it has Virgil quoted as saying "It feels like we are brothers here" and saying they'll both do their best to enhance Africas reputation.

as for the african alliance i was asked by tbs to do a mock interview at the press conference.
as for my fight i was caught napping in the first few seconds of the bout.was caught on the chin with knee that rattled me abit and was downed by a straight left that was more me being off balance as i was not hurt really by the punch.
second rnd after being shat on by steve in the corner i put the combos together opening up a cut on his eyelid and starting to hurt him with low kicks and punches.
maeda really surprised me and was quite strong physically.none the less i pulled off the win,now its all about getting focused on chi bin.

Congrats Virgil.
Look out for the Korean dude to try and pull the same "lets tap gloves...with my knee" trick. That was pretty low.
