Hi there :)

A few days ago I applied for a vacant function of newsposter at a very Dutch popular site, www.fok.nl . I think a few dutch people will know this site. It's very crowded (over 100.000 accounts at least) and reaches a very large group of people, especially my age (in the twenties).

The purpose of my 'job' will be finding news, rewrite it and post it on the site. And not normal news, sportnews. At this point only the popular sports like footbal(soccer if you like) and tennis get the most attention, but with kickboxing/muay thai as my passion, this is a great challenge and opportunity to give some exposure to the sport in the Netherlands. I could reach a lot of people who normally wouldn't have even heard of it.

Ofcourse the sport is getting more popular here, with the many victories in K-1 of the Dutchmen in mind, so that's an advantage. Though I'm planning to keep it simple in the beginning, only post news about big events and such, because nobody will give a rats ass about two Japanese guys fighting in a Shootboxing tournament. Anyway, you can all help me out with providing me with links of sites which you visit regularly and are updated and reliable.

Thnx a lot in advanced! :)

I guess kakutougi is a good way to start! :).

I actually wrote an article about the k-1 wgp this year for Fok! I think though you have to focus on our countrymen's performance Allistair Overeem in pride, Kraus in k-1 max and so on....

I`d be happy to help out, but 99% of all my bookmarks are to Japanese sites, which wont exactly be helpful.

WrestlingObserver would be one good source though....though with that one too, FieldingMelish kindly posts their MMA related news here for us.
