Anyone see the fight?
Was a good fight. Every round had action. I think Diego should have taken the dec with a score of 29-28. Although a case could be made either way.
was a close fight. Even if one of the stupid UFC judges scored it way off for Diego.

Great fight. I though Diego defintly won it and you can argue 30-27 if you give him both close rounds but 30-26 is kinda stretching it.

Also, Karo's judo throws were awesome. He planted Diego on his head twice with throws. Pretty funnt considering Diego said that "karo wont take me down with that judo crap" :)

30-28 all the way for Diego in my scoring card!
30-27 was not very shocking to me..... 30-26 was....

You're not supposed to have 10-10 rounds, so 30-28 isn't possible.

They had 10-10 rounds in the UFC plenty of times.

You may be right.....but many people are under the inclination that, myself included, that 10-10 rounds shouldn't be given out. Can someone verify when there has been 10-10 rounds of recent?

vernion white/ian freeman.
the nsac rules state that a 10-10 round is a possible scoring outcome. it just isnt used too often.

One judge scored Griffin vs Bonnar 30-28, and more recently Goulet vs Cummo had a 29-29 score.
Edit: Also Shirley scored Bonnar vs Evans 29-29.

Man..... this may have been the fight of the year..... it was like Forrest and Bonnar with more technique and at a different weight division. Both went balls to the wall from the door! I had Karo edging it, but the whuppen that he recieved at the end of round 3.... I have no problem with Diego taking his just deserts. Best fight in a long time to grace the Octagon.

Just watched it again cause the first time I was at work and couldn't concentrate. Yeah Diego deserved it but Karo was a stud as usual and the fight was awesome. Karo is extremely tough but Diego just had that added grappling slickness and jump to him.
I usually cheer against Diego but ever since Nick diaz, he has slowly won me over. He is really talented and has gotten this far without needing good standup.
I thought Diaz would beat him, then I thought Alessio would beat him, then I thought Parisyan would beat him and now I think Hughes or GSP will beat him...we'll see cause he consistently surprises me.
