MaxFighting: The next phase of Bushido will not be two fights on the same night. Do you like this?
Paulo Filho: Well I see this as a good formula.Because the level of the fighters is high and if you fight twice on this level it can be harmful for the show. One of the fighters will not be in good conditions to develop his all game in the second fight on the night.

At least this way, no one will be able say X wasn't 100% while Filho was..

not sure how I feel about it......if this is the same for ALL DSE GP's it would be a non-issue....if only for this weight is sux ass.

They probably did it to avoid another Cro-Cop contract dispute.

I just wish they had brackets. I love brackets, I don't know why.

Ahhhhh. Sorry guys, false alarm.

There's 4 fights left on the tourny. I assume the winners on the 8/27 show will have to fight 2 fights in THE NEXT SHOW.

Kazuo Misaki vs. Dan Henderson
Akihiro Gouno vs. Gegard Mousasi
Ryo Chonan vs. Paulo Filho
Denis Kang vs. Amar Suloev

I guess I was getting ahead of myself,, hehe.
