Does this mean we will see Yoshida fight without a gi?

What a silly bit of matchmaking.
They need Yoshida more than ever for the Japanese shows so they put him out there on a US event where he'll mean nothing.
Pure genius.

that's a good question. there's no way he can fight in las vegas with gi. is the event 100% confirmed to be in las vegas?

Yoshida fought without a gi against Ogawa, so it won't be anything new.
And yes, I don't care Yoshida is coming either, but I should still get my picture taken with him.

Nak may be there too. I assume this will be on live PPV in Japan or there is no way they could swing this.

Yeah, I think watching their hometown boys fight in the US against big bad gaijin may even bump the usual PPV buy rate a bit. If it is LV then their usual PPV starting time of 4pm would only be moved 4 or 5 hours earlier (ala K-1 LVGP starts live in Japan at 11am)....still very watchable as it isn't something like 3am.

I just hope they get lots of quality opponents.
Paul Buentello vs. Yoshida
Matt Lindland vs. Nakamura
Yves Edwards vs. Hayato Sakurai
