I am with everybody else. I don't see this fight getting past the first round. Vera is an exciting fighter that has the potential to be Champion at both 205 and Heavyweight.

Bizarre as this may sound the very fact we haven't seen anything of Vera on the ground doesn't make me as confident as I should be of him just blitzing Mir. You never know, Mir may just have been embarrassed enough by the Christison fiasco to actually bother training this time around.

Still, if I were Zuffa I'd simply not use Mir as a message to other fighters that no matter who you once were, the company will not put up with employing people who simply can't be bothered to train and then put on such an abysmal display.

Mir knows he isnt ready for Vera. I think they could put it off until UFC 70 and he still wouldn't be ready.
