OK, about 3 weeks back, by the shape of the clouds here I said I thought there would be an earthquake within a couple of weeks. One happened the following Sunday night (magnitude 4), and naturally everyone is saying it was a fluke.

I agree.

I did however see more clear "earthquake clouds" last night on the way to work. Huge mutha textbook examples of what the "experts" say give some warning of what is to come.

So I thought I`d post it here instead of just tell someone as if it doesn`t happen, I can delete this thread and pretend I never said anything like this :-P LOL

Within two weeks in Japan.

Predicting earthquakes by the clouds?

Is this just superstition or a real way?

I`m not sure but it is a phenomena they have noticed days or weeks before many of the largest earthquakes. Over here they have brought up previous weeks weather photo`s etc here showing them time and again, though usually after the incident. With all the activity in Japan around Sept last year, a lot of people are keeping their eyes on the clouds.

They actually for into long cylinder shapes across the sky.....long lines and several of them usually.
