I think we should predict all the fights, to get some differences between guys. Without any big upsets, this competition will end up with a bunch of winners with the current system.

Keep the questions coming...I will be replying to them later in the day, and will explain how it will work as it is going to be slightly different to usual.

Go ahead and make your one and only post in the original comp thread though, as the first person to post with the correct answers will be the winner, and you still have 2 weeks to edit your picks.

in a sense, we are actually choosing the winners for the first round fights as well. just no round or method.

Update:

For the final match you will be awarded points based on the winner of that fight being the person you predicted. For the two semi-final matches leading to final, you will be awarded an extra 10 points if both fighters you predict to be fighting, do indeed fight. This means for last year, had you predicted in fight 2.a or 2.b that it would be Masato vs Souwer, you would NOT earn extra points as Masato did not fight. If you predicted Souwer would win that second fight, you would have still earnt the winners points (but not the extra 10 points).

*Points will be scored by choosing the correct:
Winner: 40 points
Method: 10 points
Round: 5 points
For the semi-finals ONLY Both fighters ARE fighting 10 points#

# If you select Masato vs. Virgil and both win their fights and step in the ring, you will earn the extra 10 points. If one fails to win their opening fight, or wins but drops out due to injury, you will not earn these extra 10 points.

LMAO I had a hunch that I might had won the thing, but I didn't wanna act like a hyena by being the first to react and claim something, lol. Now that two months have passed though and today's my birthday and all, this is what - probably wrong - result I got from adding my score

1. Buakaw Por. Pramuk vs. Andy Souwer
WINNER: Buakaw Por. Pramuk - 40 points
METHOD: JD
ROUND: 4 (EXT.RD)

Both fighters correct - 10 points?

2.a Drago vs Buakaw Por. Pramuk
WINNER: Buakaw Por. Pramuk - 40 points
METHOD: (T)KO
ROUND: 2

Both fighters correct - 10 points?

2.b Masato vs. Andy Souwer
WINNER: Andy Souwer - 40 points
METHOD: JD - 10 points
ROUND: 4 (EXT.RD)

Both fighters correct - 10 points?

So depending if my extra points are calculated correctly I scored either 130 or 160 points. So.... did that win me anything? lol

Your counting sux (you got 150), but it still leaves you the winner of a signed shirt by the two-time MAX champ and a signed Virgil Kalakoda picture!

I can't believe I won something (again, lol). It's great to have won a signed Buakaw shirt and a signed Virgil picture, but I'd feel cheap accepting both prizes since this is not the first time I've won something. So I'll "just" keep the Buakaw shirt (duhh, lol) and I put up the Virgil pic as a second prize for whoever scored second best.

So thank you guys and congratulations to who comes in second.
Now move your asses and count your score, lol.

PS: I hope you don't mind having to send out two packages now, oYo.
