I was wondering, now that both Ninja and Baroni are out of the tournament... wouldn't be cool to have the next Pride regular event called Chute Boxe vs Hammer House? Have something like three fighters from each camp competing against each other and of course, fill the rest of the card with other fights? I think that after what happened at Pride 31, a card like that would be none than less interesting and i think that Pride could make a good profit, too.

Now we have still the Pride Absolute and Bushido WW tournaments. So Pride 32 is not gonna happen anytime soon right? There would be time enough for both Shogun and Randleman to heal/recover and be on that ipotetical card.

I was thinking at:

Shogun vs Coleman (rematch)
Silva vs Randleman
Ninja vs Baroni

It would be hard to see Silva on a card like that because he's the current LHW champion and i don't think that Pride is gonna give him someone like Kevin in a non title fight. But the fight itself would be great because there's some drama behind it too... remember when Silva made those comments about knocking out easly both Quinton and Kevin... of course, Kevin didn't appreciate it. Shogun vs Coleman is very likely to happen as i see it, Shogun wants the rematch so for that one i don't think that there're problems. Ninja vs Baroni would be a great match up in my opinion, the problem is in what state of mind is Ninja now... the devastating knockout loss to Kang was a hard one (especially after having lost the previous fight, too). I think that this match up is not impossible to arrange thogh. But if not, there's Acacio who recovered from the injury and is ready to come back.

What do you all think?

Ninja has been on a bad streak. he might want to retire or something if Baroni was to KHTFO. would be a pretty good war i am thinking so i definetly want to see it.

That would be a great theme. Ninja is still a big threat in his class. Guys have come back from much worse losing streaks than that. I think he should take a few months or so after that KO but then get back in there.

I'd love to see those fights....Ninja v Baroni, Wand v Coleman, Shogun v Randleman would be my choice but any combo would be good I think.

I agree and it would be a shame because he's only 26. He always fought against top opponents and lost some top decisions in his career too. I think that moving down to his original weight class was a great move, he looks to be in excellent shape now. I don't know, if he loses his next fight even worse gets KTFO like you i don't know if we will see him again. But then again, same happened with Baroni who lost 4 in a row but came back better than ever. Not in this last Bushido though :) well, he did ok but Misaki did better. I feel a bit sorry for Ninja to be honest. He has been probably working much harder than usual in these months and then gets totally netraulized by Filho and KTFO by Kang in 15 seconds. His moral has to be very low.

I say Silva vs Baroni, that way Baroni can put up or shut up. Ninja needs some time to reconsider his career. I would leave Randleman out of the picture, sure he is from HH but he had nothing to do with the incident.
So Baroni - Silva and Shogun - Coleman sounds good enough for me. Would be a great theme.
