A very fair report by Andrew (i hoped you and your guests liked the seats)

After the show i was my usual moody self..i really don't have much to say and i was pretty down and numb. But here are a few points

The evening started, somewhat bizarrely with a Taekwondo demonstration that seemed to go on forever.
Yeah this was doen to give the crowd something to watch whilst we fanny about backstage trying to sort things out. We were actually ready to go before the start time, but were delayed by an hour due to our glove suppliers failing to forefill an order. Lucky for us www.totalaggressionfightgear.com leap to our aid and delivered us enough medium's for us to start.

Confusing and chaotic, it featured a three-way free for all with adults and children in there together, all wheeling around, constantly flinging their legs around in front of a largely disinterested audience. One competitor earned a rousing cheer for flooring one of the adults though ? an eight-year old named Molly.

too busy to see it...although the little 8 year old was a star (and rightfully earnt a "midget fights rule" chant for her performance

This was followed by an Ian Freeman interview (‘the Machine was the event’s MC and did his usual great job) where he talked about his upcoming Cage Rage fight with Dutch monster Melvin Manhoef on July 1st. Even without the, erm, rocky relationship between Cage Rage and Cage Warriors this one seemed pretty odd. Freeman was the only fighter allocated time to talk about his next match and it was to build up a fight for a rival promotion. Strange stuff.

Ian Freeman wanted some time to clear up a few internet rumors about the fight and we wanted to show that despite our "rocky relationship" with our friends from "Sarf" London, we are the "bigger" man(s)/men/team and don't mind allocating some time to allow the most decorated UK MMA fighter to speak about his upcoming fight. Hats off to us maybe?

Although i argee fighters should be allowed to speak, many of them don't like post or pre fight interviews and as a result that's why they aren't done. But its something that needs to be looked into.

Later in the show they announced a Cage Warriors debut in Dubai this December. Interesting times ahead.

Yeah...thanks Dougie for letting us know about this beforehand lol. My bloody passport best arrive !

He also used a belly-to-belly suplex and the same kind of ‘wild swinging while utterly exhausted’ technique that makes Sapp so compulsively watchable

I heard someone during this bout also shouted out "use an armbar". Would have been nice if Barrington could of done that suplex at SF 1 lol

Arni Isaksson vs. Diego Gonzales

For many (myself included) this was by far the most anticipated fight of the night. Isaksson looked very good in winning a one-night, 8-man tournament in March at the CW: Enter the Wolfslair show. His welterweight clash with Gonzales looked like a great fight. It ended up as a very one-sided, methodical and truly impressive dismantling.

Yes Diego was very very impressive and he's only 21 years old too !

Also Brett Healy impressed me, Barakat had over 50 Muay Thai fights and Helay is just a kickboxer. But he had a lot fo heart and got teh win.

Watch out for Cage Warriors Strike Force 7: Europe vs. North America on September 30th. We are hoping to field a near all star European Line up from the UK, Scandyland, France, Russia and maybe more

Also want to thank Kakutougi for being the only MMA website in the UK who covered our show. There will be several MMA reporters that will be getting a Map of the UK for Christmas, so they can find their way outside the M25

Had no idea Healey was giving up such a huge amount of experience in that one (though I thought it was pretty clear Barakat was more technically sound). Given that his performance was great and Healey is always good value with that constant striking style.

I wondered if the Freeman thing was because of that. Its understandable but I'd still question it. Then again, if Ian Freeman wants some mic time on any UK show he's done more than earn it, regardless of the circumstances.

As for the table - everyone loved it. Think I mentioned that six of them had never been to an MMA show before and they all had a great time. Actually, one of my friends had never even seen a fight before and was looking pretty queasy during the opener but she ended up liking it. A big thanks to you, Dougie and Andy.

The Dubai thing sounds realloy interesting but I can't even imagine how you'll look with a bit of a tan!

he did.

I appeciate your construtive feedback.

We are far from perfect but we are working hard to address the negative aspects of our show. I'm off now to have a drink :)
