Pawel Nastula is set compete on PRIDE's July 1st card from the Saitama Super Arena.
The 35 year old Nastula will reportedly compete at PRIDE's Saitama Super Arena show featuring the second round of the Openweight Grand Prix on July 1st. Nastula, a two time judo world champion and Atlanta games gold medallist at half heavyweight, said that he don't know whom he will face, but his management team revealed that PRIDE promoter Dream Stage Entertainment has proposed several match ups, and that it is likely Natsula will face a top Japanese fighter.
Nastula stated that the conditions of his contract state he must know his opponent thirty days prior to competing, but that he is impartial to who he faces.
