Drago Signs Three Fight Deal With PRIDE, Faces Zentsov On 7/1?

Dream Stage Entertainment has inked hard hitting heavyweight prospect Edson Drago to a three fight deal.

The Brazilian knockout artist became heavily sought after following his five second knockout of Georgian wrestling star Tengiz Tedoradze at Cage Rage 16 in April. It was previously reported that Brazilian Top Team head Mario Sperry told Drago he could fight on July 1st at PRIDE's Saitama Super Arena event, but Drago was hesitant to make a decision, as he was entertaining offers from both the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Cage Rage.

He didn't impress me in Koper, we'll see how he'll do.

I have 5 of his fights, 3 of them end in the first 30 seconds or so.
That impresses me.

However, he is my mortal enemy, and I hope Zenstov beats him.

Yes, finally they sign him. A fight against Zentsov would be a good fight.

On another note, Nastula will also most likely retirn on the July show.

If Nastula increases his stamina (and that is what he seems to be doing according to his interview) he is a very dangerous fighter, he almost had Aleksander and he also did very good against Nogueira for it being his first fight.

He said that he will find out who his opponent is one month before the event and that it might be a japanese star. Maybe Nakamura? even though I dont think he's that big in Japan but I cant think of anyone else besides Ogawa, but I dont think so.

As a Zentsov fan I am worried about this matchup, Drago is a bad man. He could definitely be a force, he seems to have great standup skills, a good chin and he trains with BTT...

He's like James Thompson with punching skills. The rest is about the same.
