Okay it's a bit ridiculus now! Speaking with heavy explanation so that you catch the drift. Some of these kickboxers are not even on the level with him and honestly why keep importing guys to win our title. JEFF FORD SHOULD BE IN K-1!!!!!!
I just talked to him yesterday and he would have more than enough time to get in shape and fight. No more imports until you use all the K-1 North American heavies that deserve the chance. I can think of several that are overlooked. Andre Walker to name one, but Jeff must be in the tournament..... politics my ass! K-1 make it happen! Dont know how to contact him Pm me or look up the Big Diesel post.

Jeff is a decent fighter. Perhaps you are right.
One thing that will be against him is that he knocked himself out in his last K-1 fight. He isn't the first guy to twist his ankle and won't be the last. The correct thing to do is to get up and keep fighting... no matter how much it hurts. The alternative is to start the whole career from scratch.
Losing is bad. Losing by silly accident is worse.

I almost agree with you. How about we start by quit giving people like Sean O'Haire a spot when it is more than obvious to even the dumbest UFC fan that he has no business in the K1 ring at this point.

I like Jeff and would like to see him get another shot. I would rather have him in then Copper or Gary. Its not that I don't like those guys its just that I think they get more shots then others.

Cooper and Goodridge have both made it to the final of the K-1 USA. Gary made it twice in 2 years. If that isn't merit, I don't know what is.

It's time to clean it up. If we want the best from north America.... then let the best from north America fight. Fellas you like me just get tired of seeing some of these terrible mismatches or guys who get in because of their friends.... or you go to Vegas and everyone their is from somewhere else....

I think Jeff deserves another chance much rather than Sean O'Haire, but to be honest; I don't think Jeff would do much better. I remember him from Vegas 2003 and back then he struggled against old Roufus and was even knocked down by a very sloppy highkick. Unless he has improved tenfold I don't give him much of a chance.

CKO - ARE YOU SERIOUS, go back and watch the video again. My ankle did a full 90 degree roll, how was i to get back up and keep going. Be serious, i have seen people go down from less. And Yes i did try to get back up and fight but that whole calf and shin were done and there was no way I could of walked on it yet alone try and keep fighting. I don't even have the vid but i will try to find it and post it. If someone else has the fight then please post the clip. I don't know what this hate affair is that you have with me as i know that you have posted misleading info about me on other forums. Tell me what the problem is?
K1power - yeah that was a fluke, but eveyone has a "Fluke" as far as that fight - it was evident that i STILL won the fight tho'. He has called me in the last week and I found out that it was to fight me - let's do this. that k-1 i was called the week of or the wek before to come fight and was at 260+. I am now 210 training my ass off and ready to fight who ever they put in front of me as oppopssed to be guided like all of CKO's wanna be warriors. I don't talk shit online casue you never know who is saing what and what position they hold - i don't give a fuck. Scott is full of shit . Sven is full of shit and MO said it best in his statement. Scott call me the WEEK OF the 2004 K-1 (if i remeber correctly) and wanted me to fight Crocop for 3k. I said no, Crocop is getting atleast 50k - i want at least 10k and a mandatory place in the augsut event. never heard from him.
Just for fucken shits and gigles i am going to the K-1 tryouts later this year ans see what's popping. at that time whatever happens happens. When i was knocking everybody the fuck out - i could not get a fight. Now that i am in shape i still can't get a fight. Self-trained for 10 of my 20 years of fighting.....remember that CKO - that includes MT and MMA and look at my records
MT 39-13/22ko's
MMA 7-2/3ko's
By record i am better then the majority of the bums they put in these events.

Jeff,
I'm on your side. I know it was an unfortunate accident. It looked painful as hell.
The point I was making was that matchmakers are very unforgiving for a few things. Goodridge comes to fight so no matter how many times he loses, he is still at the top of the K-1 list. They won't forgive the TKD guy who breathes heavily one minute into the fight. They won't forgive the boxer who falls on his first low kick. In your case, your accident put you in the dog house.
It isn't impossible to get out of the dog house, but how many years have passed?
By all means, go to the try outs. Tell them you are still a fighter.
I know you are better than many of the bums on the event. They are more famous or younger or home grown Vegas boys or whatever. There are only 8 spots.
How is the family?

I rarely if ever have anything to say here. But here's my 2 cents....
First I'd love to see Jeff back in K-1 USA. Not only because I personally think Jeff would wreak havoc there but also because he certainly deserves his shot there. Fuck a tryout, Jeff already fought there and his credentials certainly hold more water with me than the WWE, Tough Man, and sumo cricuits. Do you seriously ask a veteran to tryout?
Second, the quality is so bad in Vegas who wouldn't welcome him back? I defy anyone to say with a straight face Akebono and O'Haire deserve their spot over Jeff.
Third, I can fully vouch for Jeff on this: Scott is full of ripe shit. Reading his rapid back peddle confirms everything I always believed and it is refreshing to actually see someone else experience and see what I have. Scott can blame Japan and K-1 HQ as much as he likes. It doesn't alter one iota that this is his standard practice and he is resposible for much of the farces you witness. And you know what? If Scott doesn't take responsibility for his own shows - Fuck him. He admits his yes-man role 100%.
Bean is fully full of shit too. Yes Bean will look after you and protect you from fights beyond you (as much as he is able) and he will line you up for fights on his promotions and his only. But with the kickboxing circuit being miniscule as it is, exclusivity doesn't exactly look out for any fighter's best interests does it?
The common ground both Bean and Scott share is they can fuck you over on whim. And they have and will continue to.

The tryouts are a great idea. Sure Jeff is a veteran but he went inactive and now he has to start from scratch. Even if Bean doesn't show any interest, there will be other fighters and promoters around.
If Jeff is smart, he has already thought of sneaking a camera into the tryouts to get content to send to worldwide promoters.

F... all the bulls..... they just need to keep it real. K-1 is the seat and they need to give up several of them. If not the WBC is making it happen right now. Slowly but surely. K-1 needs a makeover for the heavyweights in the U.S. period. Let it start with Jeff.
